Those oranges emphasize the blue in your eyes so nicely! I'd recommend anyone who's starting out with Vitamin C in their skincare routine to check out the Vitamin C guide from The Ordinary, it's very insightful. Their Vitamin C products are also great and stable forms (I use the 15% Ethylated Ascorbic Acid). And yeah, I get easily overwhelmed, too and end up doing nothing. 😅

I've been lusting over that whole collection, especially the palette...but I keep convincing myself I don't need it. And just last night I pulled all my palettes and swatched everything and found dupes. So I think I can now live in peace. Hahah. 😂

The FDA does approve glitter for cosmetic use, but don't approve use of *any* glitter on the eyes.The only "glitter" that's eye safe is the flaky mica (natural and artificial) sparkle, like the ones in the Touch in Sol eyeshadows, Tarte Chrome Paints, Hourglass Scattered Light Eyeshadows, and pretty much anything with that kind of sparkle to it. It's not related to the shape at all, just the type of material. Like most companies, Colourpop just doesn't say anything about their glitters being meant for the eyes when they're sold individually, they only say skin, *never eyes*. But when they're in an eye palette there's the possibility they could be sued if somebody has an issue, because putting it in an eye palette would imply it's an eye product. So they put a disclaimer on for legal reasons.

@@tasmapittock5680 Seriously! The thing is that makeup isn't regulated once it's a finished product. There are ingredients that are approved for cosmetics by the FDA, but they're the Food and Drug Administration. They don't regulate finished cosmetics, though they will step in and "suggest" products be taken off the market in situations like the asbestos in Claire's makeup. This is why so many indie brands are located in the US, you can mix products and press shadows in your personal kitchen and sell them online legally. But if you bake some cookies in your kitchen and sell them online, that's a no-no.

I'm always overwhelmed by everything I need to do and my inability to do it all. I get the stress paralysis so much! I often wonder if reviewing more indie brands would be better now that everyone seems to know they're out there, but you can't test them in stores. I don't know enough about KZbin dynamics and when you need to post a video to get the best exposure though. I know it's harder because you're not in the US and so many indie brands are. I'm sure you probably don't want to, but if you dropped to a 3 video schedule and made a Patreon with one video a week just for supporters...I think people would be into it. I understand it's not all about money either though. Whatever you decide, don't put so much pressure on yourself! You deserve as much fun in your life as possible.

I can completely relate to being a "do-er" until there's too much to do and it's overwhelming, then feeling stressed out and not getting anything done. In my case I sometimes end up stuck in a planning stage - going over and over what I'm going to do and when, feeling overwhelmed with how much to do, and then procrastinating. I've seen some youtubers where they have some "join" option (I really don't know what they use to do this, so sorry for my ignorance) where you pay monthly to subscribe for extra content. Have you thought of doing this and making some of your videos for the members? I'm not suggesting you film more videos; but this seems like it'd be perfect for things like vlogs, any extra videos you randomly film, or to split up content (some for all and some for members). You post soooo much and I think you should earn from that work. (As an example bellulargaming does this, see on this video there's a 'Join' option kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmmnlpp8pZaKsNU)

I love this palette, but CP should stop using pressed glitter shadows in its palettes. Not only are micro-plastics not eye-safe, they are very bad for the environment, ending up in the digestive tracts of sea life. CP is so proud of its cruelty-free products. It should take a leadership role in this issue. I have sent a message to CP about this but I'm only one person. Other consumers need to speak up.

Love the look! I find for any cream blushes - it works best for me when I swatch it first on my hand then pick it up with brush. For me this method never removes my foundation. Although, I have yet to try the ColourPop blush sticks.

I’ve heard really good things about their skincare line!! But I’d be very weary of the vitamin c serum- Vitamin C is extremely temperamental and getting exposed to light makes them break down, which makes them unstable. I’ve been putting off making a colourpop order because I’ve been waiting for the Kaledios palettes (which was totally a purchase influenced by you- thank you), but I’ve been in such an orange and pink color mood recently that I feel like they’re going to be added to the collection next.

Maybe you could do polls on here or somewhere asking what people want to see more to help cut back on what you yourself have to choose from. Of course doing videos on what you're excited about for me is preferred. But as far as PR or new products you have/buy, polls might help.? Love the shirt, love the look. (I have a blush and highlighter and even with BB cream or full foundation I have issues applying them. Finger, brush, etc. I may try a puff pad like what you get get for Korean cushion foundations. Yay so happy you did a video with this palette! I just got my order for a bunch of the 9 pan palettes from Colourpop (orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and bright pink) and so excited to use them all. Also, I think it's totally normal to have that reaction to being overwhelmed. I saw someone put the blush stick directly on the back of their hand and then blot the brush in the product that way. I'm experimenting with that. I have More is More which I heard compared to Nars Orgasm. It's a corally color with a golden sheen. Loving it and colourpop in general. 🙂 The orange is beautiful on you.

Funny, on my skin the blush stixs work better for me than the highlighter ones. I love cream cheek products though so I'm still happy with them. I think they decided to go with a complimentary pink blush rather than too much orange. It's not a bad combo. You look gorgeous as always. 🧡🧡🧡

I completely get what you said about freezing up when there's too much to do. I'm exactly the same and depending how I'm balanced I am mentally I can really get so blocked. I just start panicking in my head and it's all too much that I want to escape and I do that by freezing and just not do something. I'd say take the pressure off. It's really important to feel relaxed. The more relaxed your mind is, the easier it is to see clear in what you have to do and focus at one thing at a time. It's okay if you don't do dedicated video's about everything, I'd be happy to watch a video where you give your experiences about a product after using it for awhile and just include more than one review in a video. Do what makes you happy with it.

I did remove the glitter pans from my yellow and orange palettes. I replaced them with an orange and a yellow shade from Yes! Please at least for now. That's the only CP palette I have aside from the other mono chromatic ones. I'm really happy with it. No pressed glitter is considered eye safe bc it can get in your eye. You can use a glitter glue and be careful, but it still travels. All it takes is one piece to irritate your eye and I have very sensitive eyes. My personal feeling is that no makeup look is worth your eyesight. But, that's just me.

That F11 brush is actually a small face brush! That’s why it’s too big for the eyes. I almost bought the orange brush set, but then I noticed that F11 brush as a part of the bundle and the description of it being for the face. So I bought the brush set from the yellow collection with my orange palette order.
