Well, what Angelina did on AGT tonight was beyond belief. She took a song that is iconic (and that most would be afraid to touch), "Bohemian Rhapsody", and made it her song. She slowed the tempo, rearranged the words, and turned it into, what became for me, a beautiful song about the power of unrequited love on the will to live. And then sang it like no one ever has. The judges were dumbfounded and the audience went nuts. Then Heidi gave her the golden buzzer, which sends her directly to the finals. What we saw was the birth of a STAR!! She was simply MAGNIFICENT!! As Howie said, "(her) life will never be the same". I believe this will go viral and become a new standard version for this song. I've seen and listened to every Angelina performance that has been posted (most multiple times), and some of them (almost all of them) are fantastic. But I believe this was her best and greatest performance. There just aren't sufficient words to describe how WONDERFUL that performance was. I've already listened to it many times, and I just don't tire of it. Thanks for being so supportive of Angelina. You guys are great! Billy J

Shes not only a great singer, is a beautiful soul... In 2015, Angelina published the book Mellom to hjerter (Between two hearts) illustrated by her grandmother Mery Zamani. The book tells the story of Angelina's meeting with a poor motherless girl in Asia to whom Angelina gives her shoes. In return the girl promises to always pray for Angelina. According to Angelina, the book is based on a real incident, and she cites it as the reason for always performing barefoot

Yes, that was her family they kept showing. It was her grandmother who was jumping up and down. Her mother and little sister were right next to her along with Angelina's uncle. They are a very close family and are very protective of Angelina, which is a good thing since she won Norway's Got Talent at such a young age. Although she's got over a billion likes on Facebook and KZbin, they've kept her away from the demands of major recording labels so far. It seems like her entering AGT Champions might be a coming out strategy. She could not have done a better job of it! Thanks for your great reaction here. By the way, this is Alishia's first gig with AGT. I always liked her on BGT. Clearly she was swept away by Angelina, as were all the judges.

I listen all her covers and with her smokey , raspy voice and her emotions when she sing, all covers are better than original songs. I just love her. Yes, that was her mom with long bleached hair. Actually there was at least 4 from her family: Closest to the camera was her maternal grandmother iranian artist Mery Zamani (who is also her stylist; Angelinas outfit is based on her paintings), then her mother Sara Astar, her little sister Juliette ("love of my life"), and her uncle Michael (her manager). Her full name is Angelina Jordan Astar -- A-star -- get it? She was born and grew up in Norway but traveled a good bit to other countries and have moved to the US recently. English is actually her third languague after norwegian and persian. Her genes is 1/4 iranian, 1/4 japanese and 1/2 swedish.

@@ozthaisurprise Not genetically. Legally she is a Norwegian citizen and she feels Norwegian because Norway is where she grew up. But, Sweden is our brother scandinavian country and very much like Norway. Our genepools are mostly shared "viking" (norse) genes. Also our languagues are so similar we can understand most of what swedes say without having learnt the languague beforehand.
