All of the professional voice teachers who have reacted to AJ over the years have been astonished at her abilities and find it difficult to describe her because they have never experienced anyone like her. Thanks Larry for your heartfelt honest opinions. I too am old school (68 now) and have grown up in the era of the 60's, 70's, 80's music and have listened to everything and just love great music whatever the genre is. I still love classic Rock, Metal and such but being exposed to this kind of unbelievable talent has completely opened my mind to what true, raw talent that exists amongst the produced, flamboyant, auto tuned, sexual, much less talented musical "artists" that are mainstream now days. These less than "produced" , true music artists, and you mentioned a few, are hopefully the future of music, and it surely needs these artists right now. I love the artists you mentioned for sure, but have been following Angelina since she was 6 years old and have watched her grow up, like a daughter, with this immense talent, heart, soul, kindness that we just do not see these days or maybe in decades. Anyway, I am blabbering, but appreciate your reactions and comments to the Angel. Carl, Check out NPR's "Tiny Desk" concert series. There's a ton of artists that I had never heard of who are amazing. (Some I never really paid attention to, but gained a newfound appreciation for). Even the mainstream pop artists give you a glimpse of their talent without the over production so common these days. Seriously, it's a fantastic production!

Right there with you with your sentiments, To me Angelina is the the total singer ,versatility, vocal artistry, emotive content , a range that allows her sing anything from the lows from Artist like Elvis ,Frank Sinatra , and highs from artist like Whitney Huston and more. . Plus her heart a big as the world. she committed at the tender age of 6 years old to perform barefoot to bring awareness to shoeless orphans and poor children around the world when she gave her favorite sea green boots to a orphan on the street weighing people on a bathroom scale to support her and her siblings and she has kept that commitment for the past 9 years. I have always felt that Angelina’s intuition is exceptionally sensitive. Add that to her unusually high level of intellect, wisdom and maturity and we have an artist that once she is ready to begin to focus on her music career she will shake up the music industry. She will single handedly bring the jazz genre back to prominence while introducing it to the younger generations that have never listened to jazz until hearing Angelina perform it. I have listened to perhaps 20 young ladies doing this cover. Some are great singers with thousands of views. Several are professional singers with their own web sites. None of them have the soul in their voice like Angelina does. Her last several songs including "All I Ask" "Fields Of Gold" and "Easy On Me" show her amazing development in style and vocal maturity. Republic Records is truly blessed, as are we her devoted fans. One of my personal favorites is hearing her sing "CRAZY" by the late, great Patsy Cline.

I have seen similar comments voicing thoughts/concerns about Angelina's reasons for covering this song. I believe Adele is a terrific songwriter, and the reason for the success of any great song is its universal topic - nearly everyone can find a phrase in the lyrics that resonates within them. I think Angelina is no different. She heard the song and maybe thought about her life through that lens, but in the end, it is just a good song that she felt she could do justice.

I get it when you essentially said that you don't want to be an admiration society but this is an almost incomprehensible time in music - where you have 4 or 5 entertainers who are young but have the talent for all of them to be superstars right now. Throughout history we've seen this same thing occur - where a group of individuals incarnate closely in time and space and together, by using their craft, they give humanity a boost towards enlightenment. Hello Larry😉 - For lack of a better term: OMG! To have such a personalized reaction from you is TOTALLY AWESOME. And that you also loved this cover just as much as I do, makes it even better. She is my favorite female singer after all😄 Like you said, she is 15 years old (will turn 16 on Jan 10th) and the fact that she is evolving the way she does and probably still WILL be is almost scary. Hard to imagine what she may sound like when she reaches like say Adele's age, right ? I fear there won't be much of a competition tbh. The elderly lady you saw with her in the beginning of the video is indeed her grandmother Mery Zamani. Mery was the very person who introduced Angelina to jazz when she was just a baby, and she is probably the one person responsible for Angelina being where and what she is today. Mery was somewhat of an art child prodigy herself and has influenced Angelina greatly in many ways. Angelina's bond to Mery is unmeasureable, and I got SO scared a couple weeks ago when I learned that she had to undergo surgery for cancer. Luckily, we also learned afterwards that the surgery went well. I honestly don't know what would happen to Angelina were she to lose her grandmother at this stage in her life. We also have to remember that she lost both her grandfathers within a short time period. She wrote one of her originals "Million Miles" for one of them and dedicated her cover of "Always On My Mind" to the other. You may wonder how a 15 year old girl seemingly can relate so well to the lyrics here, but I like to think that even though she obviously hasn't had the exact same experiences as Adele describes here, she still has had her share of different experiences in her relatively short life. You have to think that even though Angelina is doing what she loves to do, she still can feel the pressure from the world on her shoulders (I believe this is what she talks about in her original "7th Heaven". She is fully aware of her skills and the expectations to her as an artist and even as a human being. Can be a heavy burden for sure. Then you also have the loss of her grandparents. I can easily understand and see how a singer of Angelina's caliber can translate this to a heartfelt performance such as this one. ( Oh my... is he never gonna stop rambling ??? ) Forget that I was the one who mentioned it, because I've had my share of attention, but I still feel like this would be the perfect time for you to react to her original "7th Heaven". She's just 15 years old, and she making so many people feel this song and others that she has sung. What a God-given talent! On a side note, I've been noticing there's a certain small group of people who are using their KZbin accounts just to put out negative comments about her covering this song. I checked on a few of these and they have basically no KZbin activity (no uploads, no playlists, no videos channels, etc.,) and yet they have time to spread negativity and hate for her! Great reaction concerning Angelina's cover. I have more or less stopped to commenting about Angelina because I have run out of words about her long time ago....haha.... You also mentioned Aurora who also is from Norway. But Norway's biggest star, for decades. has been Sisssel Kyrkjebø. She has had an international career so she don't need much promotion. She is a soprano with the most warm and crystal clear voice you will hear in your life. She has sung with the biggest stars within opera like Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti...... She was singing on the movie Titanic. Thanks Larry for the wonderful reaction, but I understand the dilemma you are in, in fact this is the dilemma of a reactor, with the large amount of excellent singers available it becomes difficult to give preferences, the pleasure of listening to these voices is totalizing, it becomes an addiction. 😁 😁 This song is very beautiful and emotionally very personal for Adele, but I loved Angelina's ability (at just 15 years old) to immerse herself so deeply in the song, with her usual naturalness and her unique and fascinating way of giving it to us. Her voice is truly enchanting and her ability to vary pitch, power and tempo so smoothly and elegantly during her performance is absolutely unique. She is it, practically impossible to describe, but wonderful and unique, always. 💛 🧡 ❤️

Probably I should have said to have them "consider", not challenge, a couple other reactors have been blocked for like Dimash (for example), and have submitted a "re-consideration" (I know I'm not using correct terms as I don't have a channel), or something like that and in some cases they reaction has been "unblocked".... awwweee just sad, :-(. I was really looking to that one.... If you are oldschool, you might like Beth Hart. Amazing singer, already 49 years old, considered best female Blues artis for years in the US. Check out her performance with Joe Bonamassa, Beth and Joe live in Amsterdam 2012, the amazing cover of "I'd Rather Go Blind". And for other Adele covers of Angelina my favourite: "Million Years Ago" in the age of 12.

I just discovered Beth a few years ago, singing with Joe Bonamassa. I have become HUGE fans of them both in a short time. The first song I heard was "I'd rather Go Blind" and that was quickly followed by "I'll Take Care of You". I was hooked.

I am mainly an AJ fan, but I love all the artists you do reactions to and you said you like older rock styles and there are 3 sisters from Mexico called "The Warning". They started out in 2014 in Mexico at ages 8 Ale (bass) Pua 11(drums) and Dany 13(lead guitar) did a cover of "Enter Sandman" and ended up on The Ellen Show. They have done two albums of their own music and were going to do a big North American tour in 2020, which got canceled. They have been signed by Lava Records, and have just put out a new EP. But they have also put out a new Enter Sandman with a pop artist called Alessia Cara, it is incredible the harmonizing is not usually that good in rock music. I would love it if you could do a double reaction of when they were younger in their basement of "Enter Sandman" which has 22 million views and the new one now that they are 15, 18, and 20 the new one was released in Sept. and has over 1 million views. They have a lot of younger fans but I think the majority of their fans are 50 and older.
