Angelina doesn’t only perform for your ears and eyes, she performs for your heart and soul as well. The guitarist is Steve Conte. A very talented musician, songwriter, producer, and singer. He collaborated with Japanese composer Yoko Kanno on many anime soundtracks. He posted Angelina’s performance on his Facebook and Twitter accounts. This song is one of Angelina's signature songs. It is the only one that I have seen her sing at every age including her most recent concert in summer 2019. The lyrics in her new song give some clues to her connection to this song (and the moon theme that runs throughout a lot of her work). This song was originally arranged for Frank Sinatra by Quincy Jones, and in 2018 Angelina had the great honor of singing this song for Quincy at his 85th birthday celebration in London. An experience she later described as the highlight of her life so far.

She has said in a number of interviews that she never gets nervous when singing in public. By the way, she has performed in front of crowds as large as 40,000. This video shows her happily skipping out in front of them onto possibly the (physically) largest stage in the world (Seoul, South Korea, 2017), not the least bit phased by the size of the event. There is another version of "Fly Me to the Moon" that is worth your attention; it is her performance for Quincy Jones' 85th Birthday Gala at the O2 Arena in London in June 2018. Dude dude dude, what are you doing. Angelina dropped her first original record with Republic Records. Lots of people are reacting without being blocked. You can also use bots to issue copyright strikes later on. I'm positivly suprised UMG has not used their usual "If in doubt block it" strategy so far.

Yes, but look for the combo video. The audio for the rehearsal was not good. Someone got the audio from the actual performance and overlaid it onto the video. That's the one to look for.

My first thought was "Oh no! I'll have to skip all the chatter of the hostess" but thankfully except for the introduction of Angelina you cut it out. So, a big "thumbs up" for doing that. For people that saw this video many many times, they can skip the short interview. My daughter and Grand daughters(7 and 9 yrs old) haven't heard of Angelina Jordan. When I saw gray wolf reacting toFMTTM, the View version, I called them to watch Angelina Jordan for the first time. In this video I told them you will see how young she is, when she first started singing, what songs she started with, and winning Norwegians Got Talent. But it was cut out to the disappointment of my granddaughters I told my daughter when they got home to try to find it on KZbin. People being introduced to Angelina for the first time should not be deprived of the full video of her songs.

Welcome back, GreyWolf. FYI, superfan pa1189j has a version of Angelina performing Fly me to the Moon on his channel. It was performed at Quincy Jones's 85th birthday concert. Pa1189j overlaid a reharsal of the song with the actual audio from the concert. Make sure you check out this version because the orchestra was too loud on the actual rehearsal. Maybe somebody can give you the link (i don't know how). Like yourself, Quincy Jones says she's the best talent since Michael Jackson. This version shows the maturity in Angelina's voice at 12 years of age. The orchestration is wonderful and Angelina sings it so beautifully.

It's kind of crazy. When I watch this child grow, through these videos , I am so proud of her, as if she were my child. I believe Angelina has the largest adopted family in the world. There is nothing she could ever possibly need of me. But I would drop everything if she needed me. The world doesn't get children like Angelina everyday, and it's not just her music that makes her special. It is that she is special, and that brings out the beautiful music in her. She is an angel.

Another young singer (though she's barely able to make a living out of it) lately said she's considering herself incredible lucky to be able to make music. Especially considering how many other talented singers she has seen dropping out of the industry, unable to sustain it financially. I think Angelina is lucky she started so early and had the time to hone her skills without the time pressures that the life of a fulltime artist puts on you. That's really a luxury that few can afford after starting their career, most are completetly sucked up by the task of keeping it going.

I have watched so many different people react to music and videos, among them, Angelina, and with reactions it’s very close to everything else in life; I do not appreciate when people put on a show on their own just to get attention. The thing with Angelina is that she has been a genuine, honest artist from day one. No frills, no gimmicks. When she sings, she does it from her heart and goes to the place she pictures in her mind with each song. That is what touches us every time apart from her amazing voice. It's the feeling she puts in everything she sings. I totally agree with what you say about the stupid, self-centered, seudo singers out there as well as MANY famous ones that sing sh.... The song starts off in straight time but then transitions into a swing feel and she doesn't miss a beat. How many kids can even SPELL swing much less understand it. And its just her voice and an acoustic guitar so there's no where to hid in the mix. Also its live so you can't stop the take and start over. Of course her voice is fantastic but to be able to deliver a live performance without error is astounding. I think the little bobble at the end was just she didn't know exactly how and when the song would end.

I continue to wonder, "What does a musician think upon first-ever hearing and then, later, for the formal presentation?" You are constantly looking for uniqueness, and you have an eye for artists outside the US. I would like you to check out Aurora who cannot be put into any other genre than her own. Hi. There are several points about Angelina that I would like you to address (I am a musical composer). I tell you from my point of view and why they make this teenager (perhaps) the best singer of all time. 1) Plasticity. She can "imitate" any singer with her voice, imitating means having the ability to "absorb" from said singer colors, textures, musical smells, feelings, that's why I say that Freddie Mercury could only be Freddie Mercury but not Amy's textures Whinehuse or Elvis Presley and so vice versa. There is no singer of today, famous (Adele, etc) or in musical growth who has this capacity 2) humility. Absolutely all the singers at this moment personify the music, they create a show of everything they do, instead Angelina seems like a teenager who is continuously learning, practicing. Love your reaction. Angelina has said that when she sings, she goes into her own world which she describes as endless and filled with light, joy and love. I guess, if she's there, then there is no reason to be nervous. As far as how big she should have been at that earlier age, her parents protected her from all that and allowed her to be a child. For what it's worth, I'd suggest at least watching the acoustic music video ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJ_Rq5WaqZmSiKc ) whether you react to it or not, before you do her new "Million Miles" release and please do the lyric video of it. I think you'll see why after you've done it.
