My most favorite song of hers. I’ll tell you how awesome it is: f-ing awesome!!!!!!!!!!! From the first time I heard it, all other songs took a back seat. Just incredible! Keep in mind the lyrics of the song that won her norways got talent.

This may be the greatest song that Angelina has done to date and she was only 10 years old. Although it is not an original, she is the only one who has covered it as it was leaked. No question she has made it her song. We angels (fans) have been busy and extend an invite to join the reaction community we have started. We have been suggesting to reaction channels to go beyond their reactions in supporting our barefoot angel (as well as any other aspiring artists) by providing links to the original video (thanks for doing that) along with her two KZbin channels, Official and Cover channel. Since few people read the description, which has great info for your channel as well, it makes sense to verbally encourage viewers to use all the links provided. It is an original in its way. She recorded it before Baby Fuzz released his version. Baby Fuzz together with others wrote the song in 2016. When no-one wanted to record it, he did it himself. Later on Angelina’s version was leaked and it showed that it was recorded before Baby Fuzz released his version. One of the rumors going around it is that she did not release it because her family felt the subject was too mature for her age to be appropriate. At any rate it is a wonderful heart wrenching song about loss and pain. Angelina’s melancholic singing is a perfect fit for the song. It is certainly one of my favorites. The video was put together by a fan but was not part of the leaked version :-)

Ten years old... this is just an amazing demo. If this had been released it could have easily been a hit for her. There are "rumors" as to why it wasn't released, but that's all they are, rumors. Unfortunately, there are many rumors and misinformation about this song. Brandon Lowry (Baby Fuzz) wrote the song with cowriters Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen in 2016. Due to lack of interest in this song, Brandon recorded and released the song himself in 2018. The three cowriters are considered to be the initiators of the demo recording, the three are also the cowriters of Angelina's original "Shield". According to Brandon Lowry on his YT channel, he has never had contact with Angelina or her team. He only heard Angelina's version on YT in 2018 and was thrilled. Brandon Lowry complained that he was attacked and insulted over the Angelina rumors. I suspect that this is why the comment function was deactivated. I guess you have to have good relationships with the studio in order to be able to publish this high quality demo recording on YT. Also strange is the date of the release of the two versions on YT, Angelina's version 11/12/2018, Brandon Lowry version 12/19/2018. Officially from Angelina or her team there is no information about who or why the song was not released with Angelina. 💯 *AJ* 💯

Later the demo was pirated from Angelina pictures were added and put online at the same time the song was released by Baby Fuzz caused some confusion but rumor has it that all parties agreed to leave Angelina's pirated cut on U-tube. Hi RG, thank you for your honest reaction. “I'm Still Holding out for You” & the game of telephone. Here's the whole story. Please read. This was recorded when Angie was 10 almost 11 (it was used as a demo). The rumor was her mom (Sara) didn't like the suicide content references in the song so it was never released. This song is by Brandon Lowry better known as Sterling Fox & aka Baby Fuzz & co-writers Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen (& they have worked with Angie before). Baby fuzz did this during a music workshop back in 2016 in Norway, (for Angie is kind of like friends with Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen & they all know each other. For like I said they have worked together before, this is how Angie might of got the song for they were all at said work shop at different times) Here’s a little bit of what BF said about in interview about the song: “Now I’m super happy nobody else took it, because it feels 100% honest to what I was feeling at that time. A fun line in the second verse deals with impulsive swiping of potential Tinder matches. It’s not even to find someone to match with. It’s just a cyclical behavior of rejecting others in an attempt to affirm an old flame that will never work. It’s actually the whole idea of the song… I’m just delusionally holding out in some monk-like vow of abstinence and loyalty that is incredibly self-destructive”-BF (No one was interested at the time) then Angie did the demo for it in 2016 & it was leaked 2 years later in Nov 2018. (He wont change the lyrics to the song or let others do so). It's funny he released it as an original in Dec 2018 a month after Angie's was leaked. I believe Baby Fuzz heard Angelina's arrangement and vocals on the demo and then, for reasons we aren't sure of, which could have been that he believed that it could be released by he himself so as to get not only the writing residuals but those for singing it as well, he released a cover of Angelina's originally conceived rendition. It went nowhere, but had Angelina been able to release it, I and a host of other Angelina followers are sure it would have been a massive hit song. We've heard many vocal styles that she applies to songs in many different genres, but in this one she is totally different in her vocal delivery, which truly sounds as if she is an adult with inflections I associate with an Amy Winehouse style ballad. Of course, she applies the nuance like 'breathy' releases she learned from Billie Holiday, but the Amy style dominates my hearing of it. To me, it's the one I like best over all her songs and that's really saying something when you realize everything I've heard by her has been taken into consideration. Would love for Republic Records to let her do it in an album one day, for it's that good.

I was thinking about your statement that there's only one Amy Winehouse song you like. I think I get it. I'm not an Amy fan by any means, but I love Angelina's Amy Winehouse covers. I think it's because Angelina brings all the soul of Amy without the tawdriness of Amy's professional persona. Far from diminishing the songs, Angelina's delivery of the joy and heartache and playfulness in them actually elevates Amy's material to the realm of universal human experience. For an example of this, I recommend Angelina's cover of Rehab, in which she changed the lyrics slightly to make them more fun and age-appropriate. I like the Kongsberg Jazz Festival performance the best.

It was not a cover. She sung it when it was written. Her parents would not approve the suicidal lyrics. It was then done by Baby Fuzz at a much lower level.

This is a hard song to sing she sings very well but I can tell she isn't feeling the song. An artist must understand and feel the lyrics. She's too young to know the meanings of the words. She's performing the song as written but without making me feel or moving me with artists like dimash makes me feel. Yes she has the voice but I think she needs to do more songs appropriate for her age. Just saying
