This is the one Cliff. Weight for age it is still her best performance, even though she was only 10 when she recorded it. It is a first performance of a song by Baby FuzZ. She had no earlier performance to take inspiration from, and yet she came up with this, at 10! See the girl at the end with the moon? That is Angelina at 10. Utterly bewildering.

like the way you react Cliff, this girl is something special, i am 68yrs old and not that much into music, growing up through the sixties,seventies and eighties, ive heard all the legends, never really took that much notice, too busy chasing girls, getting drunk etc, but then somebody sent me a video of Angelina on facebook, since that moment, my life has changed, this girl does something to your soul, for one she makes you listen to the lyrics, something ive not really done before, ive teared up more times than i care to mention, i personally think she is the best ive ever heard, and listen to her every day, i cant wait till she's unleashed on the world.

I love this! I listened to the original and tbh it wasn't that good. She made it her own and murdered it.. And the crazy thing is that she got 10 times more views on her cover then the original song does. I got no more words to describe this girl... I've used every word in the dictionary by now... It's certainly not a 'cover' as by all accounts it was the first recording of a song which would not be officially recorded and released by co-writer Baby Fuzz for another two years. You could say he was 'covering' Angelina's demo track, but there's really no comparison and it failed to chart. Most people who listen to his version agree that Angelina, aged ten (!) could have handed him a world-wide hit on a platter two years earlier and he could have retired on the writing royalties. 🙂🇦🇺

Like many other fans, my list of Angelina favorites changes all the time. It’s easy to see why when in just the first half of this year she gave us Seventh Heaven and (my current obsession) Billie Jean. But this song, I’m Still Holding Out for You, has never moved off that favorites list from the moment I heard it. I don’t usually like a new song the first time I hear it, but this is an absolute masterpiece. Nobody delivers the lyrics like Angelina. You’ve read about the dark side of the lyrics. Even if Angelina decided to record this again, this version she sang at 11(!) stands on its own-absolutely timeless. She has killed this song for anyone else.

That’s not actually true, it wasn’t released because it was only a demo, no one picked it up, so Baby Fuzz released his own demo as the official release. That’s very different from it not being released because her mother objected to lyrics, they may not have acquired the rights, but if they had they could have changed any of the lyrics they wanted, but that wasn’t the case. I’m not even sure if they ever offered the song to Angelina, but it’s not too late!

It wasn’t their decision, and on one else could release the demo either, they could only use it to try to interest someone in acquiring the rights to the song, then that person could release their version of the song, but not Angelina’s demo, that could not be released, that’s why it’s leaked.

The reason you couldn't find this is that it wasn't officially released. Angelina's mother apparently objected to a line in the song after it was recorded. This is the only version there is, and it's "leaked".

She is a vocal chameleon, able to change her vocal style to whatever she feels the song calls for. Personally, I believe this is the best she has ever done and it's a shame her mom wouldn't let her record it because of a line about drowning/suicide.

I've been following this young lady for 6 years, and every time I hear her sing this song, I ask myself, "How does a 10 year old sound so grown up, and sing with so much feeling and emotion?" It is an amazing performance, regardless of her 10 year old self when she recorded it. I know that most of us are aware that she has been performing since the age of 7, and by the age of 10 was in concert with some of her best work like “Feeling Good”. 10 years old here. That little girl climbing toward the moon at the end of the video is an out take from her 10 year old video of "Fly Me To The Moon" and that's the same little girl singing this. I know for sure you did your research because this is the only recording of this song. She demoed for it for the writer who later recorded it himself (not very good) but Angelina recorded it first. So, imo, it's her original, lol. This is insane for a 10 year old and you're right Cliff, there is no one anything like her. She is one of a kind. She recorded a song last Jan.2020 titled "Above The Water" that I think may have had some of the same musicians in an EDM style. You might have already reacted to it. You did so many. Hi Cliff & welcome back to reacting to Angie. Great reaction. “I'm Still Holding out for You” It was recorded when Angie was 10 almost 11 (it was used as a demo. Her mom didn't like a line in it, so it was never released as a single) This song is by Brandon Lowry better known as Sterling Fox & aka Baby Fuzz & co-writers Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen. Baby fuzz did this during a music workshop back in 2016 in Norway. Angie did the demo for it & it was leaked 2 years later. He wont change the lyrics to the song or let others do so. He released it as an original in around 2018-2019. When so many listen to this & Baby Fuzz's version, they still all think this should be her's for it sound much better & convey's the story better. Remember Angie never sings a song the same way twice, so you could say they’ll all be 1st time reactions. You'll want to check out kzbin.info he has all of Angie's songs in order. (He has over 27k subs, this is so you’ll know which one)

Brandon Lowry (Baby Fuzz) wrote the song with cowriters Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen in 2016. Due to lack of interest in this song, Brandon recorded and released the song himself in 2018. The three cowriters are considered to be the initiators of the demo recording, the three are also the cowriters of Angelina's original "Shield". According to Brandon Lowry on his YT channel, he has never had contact with Angelina or her team. He only heard Angelina's version on YT in 2018 and was thrilled. Also strange is the date of the release of the two versions on YT, Angelina's version 11/12/2018, Brandon Lowry version 12/19/2018. Officially, there is no information about who or why the song wasn't released with Angelina. 💯 *AJ* 💯

Although it has happened in the past where Demo's like this have somehow escaped into the world, with the help of the company maybe, it certainly creates a mystery and does not hurt Angelina. This was a demo done for an artist with a odd moniker (can't remember his name); anyway, the guy was looking for someone to do the number for him & she was the only one who did, hence the demo. He likes it, but as always with the industry, she wasn't signed with this particular recording company. So, it got shelved. The artist himself then recorded it later. Touch of irony, the original artist did a cover of his own song. Don't know who leaked this demo. Still a mystery. But the original artist wasn't going to block her performance from Utube. Funny thing her performance on this number has more views than his. I read about this in a comment section from someone else doing a review. Since I'm terrible at remembering names, can give a name. But this person did interview the original artist and those that worked with Angelina. Oh, she was ten & the vid was done by a fan. So I understand.

The best move you can make, to avoid being hammered by "fans", is to totally ignore any request that doesn't contain a link. If you decide to search for the performance yourself you will open yourself up to a lot of criticism from those who will accuse you of passing up the "best" performances or of choosing the "wrong" performances. Another good idea sometimes used by reactors is to name the YT subscriber or patreon subscriber who submitted the request along with a link. This was a great choice and your reaction to Angelina is always appreciated.
