You’ve got a point. Kongsberg has a jazz festival every year and she would have been influenced by hearing the other artists performing. She’s been there a few years.

I've listened to all of Angelina's songs a thousand times, This audio-only version of the same recording has much better sound quality so good choice, the other version was filmed on a video cam or similar so the sound is not as good. She was twelve years old here.

Love you reaction & comments to (12) Angie live at Kongsberg in Norway 2018. It had a small Jazz club & intimate feel to it. Very different from the big out door concert & military band where Angie was (12) also. This was awesome. I can't remember if this was on her album "It's Magic" or if the other one was. This version is with a jazz quartet with the audio much better & more nuanced vocals while the other version is a fan recorded video backed by a 40 piece military band where she is blowing your socks off with her power belting. Both were at age 12 & both are amazing!

You are forgetting that yes there is the live version with the Norwegian Military Band, but there is also the studio version with the Norwegian Military Band that is on their album “It’s Magic”.

Thank you both for this Angelina reaction. This version again done at a live outdoor concert is not as well known as the outdoor concert with the Norwegian military band who backed every song on her It’s Magic album at 11~12 years old.

I prefer the jazz band in this version over the orchestra in the other video for this particular song, the orchestra was perfect for other songs such as "Oslo." The recording quality here is far better and Angelina's enunciation of the lyrics is clearer in this one. So I agree with the guy who requested this that this is the better version.

You make a strong point regarding us seeing young modern stars thanks to the Internet. I hadn’t thought of this until you mentioned it. When we form opinions that a star is the greatest ever child singer at a certain age, we have to remember that the net wasn’t around when the like of Aretha Franklin or Australia’s Vanessa Amorosi were young. Maybe they were as talented and Angelina is at the same age. Certainly Aretha was performing in church choirs and Vanessa Amorosi was performing at cabarets and restaurants and shopping centres at the age of 12 too. Maybe they were just as good at the same age.

Of the more than 130 songs Angelina has sung, there is 1 (one!!) that I don't like. It's not the performance, it's the song. I mentioned it once in a comment and practically got my head chewed off. I learned my lesson. 😟😎

As you know I hate watching Angelina with her (to me) smug expressions but it is marvelous to just hear her sing without having to watch her. She is an amazing talent for sure. The band accompanying Angelina should give a final solo in the middle of the song! Most will remember a nice solo and not remember Angelina's beautiful performance of this piece of music! It was a big mistake! I wonder how Angelina who used to be called the boss allowed this to happen!

I'm a huge AJ fan and I've listened to both versions many times and I don't see much difference in the way she sings the song. One is with a full band and this is with a small combo of guitars and drums but the sound quality is much better. Please check out her on stage performance with a great band of FEELING GOOD at 10 years old. Imo, this 10 yo performance is when she changes from little girl to true professional.
