I have been a fan of AVA since around 07/08 and have loved pretty much everything they have ever done. They are easily my favourite band of all time. What I have love most about the singles we have heard from the upcoming album is how different each one is. They really experimented with different ideas, sounds and took little bits and pieces from different genres. Tom admitted after their 4th album in 2011 (love part two) that some songs and ideas where starting to sound the same and he really wanted to change things up with the bands sound and they really did that with their last album before this one, The Dream Walker, which dropped in 2014 and was the first album they made with Ilan Rubin in the band. I feel with this new record they have continued to experiment and change things up and push themselves as musicians while incorporating some classic AVA elements and sounds from earlier albums which are so beloved by the fans :) this song is probably my favourite of all the songs that have come out so far. I love the dance vibe in the verses and then the big catchy chorus. You hear it once and it just gets stuck in your head for ages. Sorry for rambling for so long hahah but yeah I’m so pumped for the album to drop in September and to see them live next year when they come to the UK 😁😁

LOTS of great AVA tunes over the years. (Hallucinations, Secret Crowds, Heaven, Anxiety...I could go on for days). Love this one too. All of the songs so far released from the new album sound different. I would imagine "Kiss and Tell" would be something you'll enjoy (Yep. It's a banger), but I'm partial to "Restless Souls" for some reason. Thanks guys!

When I first heard the song, I wasn't a fan of the "monotone rap" at the start, but i find the more i listen to it, the more i like it. AVA are definitely evolving their sound and I like it a lot. Not changing works well for a band like ACDC, but i am enjoying the evolution of AVA for sure!!

I'm a big fan of Blink182 and the side projects around them. In this case - Tom is a brilliant musician and composer and his handwriting is recognizable at first glance. He has a specific voice and he can still be the goofy teenager from the EOTS era.

So to start off yeah this track is super different from other AvA tracks and has some elements I personally really enjoyed and others not so much. But it's interesting to watch a band be able to make different styles of music and not have to stick to their generic formula. Anyways to the video itself. In this Tom is playing the character of Disco (Boomers brother from Blink-182 First Date this time not kissing each other). Disco is now a washed up star living in Vegas trying to regain some of his fame, he want's to get on Tiktok so he enlists an already famous tiktoker(?) Rampage (Apparently he is famous) to help him regain his fame. In the start we see the group of (probably real girls) going crazy but not over Disco but for Rampage showing no one really knows who Disco is anymore. We also get to see Disco fail at dancing completely as he tries to stay relevant and over the course of the night everything goes wrong from rampage leaving with a chick, his amp and van being stolen and then getting attacked by said chick. But as a new day comes disco learns some new dance moves and powers through and keeps trying regain that once lost fame.
