This helped me so much! I love how mine turned out. I used the mask method. I didn't have any trouble removing the mask. I didn't pull off at an angle, but straight. Came right off. I used converted et2800 with hiipoo sublimation ink, and it printed beautifully. Cut with cricut maker 3, put through twice to cut at normal pressure. Used on Gildan 100% cotton purple shirt. Couldn't have done this method without your tutorial video!!!

I so wish I'd seen your video sooner! After 2 ruined shirts and tons of ruined supplies, I finally got it right after watching YOUR video! I have an Epson -4850 with Hiipoo ink that I use for sublimation and I had an order for a dark blue shirt. I printed on A-Sub paper and sublimated it to the Siser easysubli HTV as shown in your video. I was making it so much more difficult than it should have been! Thanks again!

Tip for Ecotank printers. I use Ink Tec Sublinova ink with my ET-1810. The Easysubli comes out of the printer dry to the touch. Though I don't think it is Sizer. It is called Printable Sublimation Flex - Subli Fabric Plus. Al the other flex products they have have the Siser brand in the name.

Thank you!! Also, suddenly printer isn’t gripping my siser easy subli… another creator posted using glue around edges of print and stick 8x11 paper to the shiny side. Works every time😅. I would have used a pressing pad to raise the area of the shirt that needed to be in contact. Those neck and sleeve seams are in the way and pretty sure your pressure isn't as even as it could be. Or, I'd use my smaller press, then the seams would fall off the side of the platens and then you have even pressure. Just the way I was taught years ago and it makes sense. Thank you for your video.

Thank you for this info. I have heard this all before, but needed a refresher... and your direction is super clear. I wanted to give you a tip I have learned to make the color more close to what you want... with the color on the epson printers... in the printer dialog box when you change the settings for your epson ecotank printers... make sure the paper is on a photo paper Matte setting but also hit custom in settings and change your colors to Adobe colors, not using the automatic colors setting that comes up for Ecotank printers. this will give you the closest colors to what you want. and you will be happier with your designs, Hope this helps you get your printer colors better. I have a few questions. 1. If your going to do a print & cut why do some people if they have a sawgrass save their image as a png instead of sending it directly to the sawgrass printer, then they bring it onto their canvas? 2. Does this have to be done ONLY if the image is not already a PNG? 3. Do I need to calibrate my Cricut maker with my Sawgrass 500 to do a print & cut? I hope this is not confusing. Thank you for your great teaching.

I just do it in Design Space like normal then send to Sawgrass Print Manager. Not sure why they want to do it another way? Calibration is for the Cricut machine. Regardless of the printer you are using.

I do the two step method but I do not use the offset feature. After I cut it I place my easy subli on to parchment paper and press it for 5 seconds so that tacks on and doesn't move, then i place my parchment and easy subli on to a light box so that I can line up my sublimation paper over the easy subli. i use heat tape to tack my sub paper to the parchment paper and go back to the press, and do the sublimation while its on the parchment. Once its done, and it cools a little, you can peel it back off the parchment and place it on your garment doing the short press to tack it on to the garment. Hope this helps an epson user who doesn't want to have the offset!

@@AngieHolden Once I learned the parchment paper trick, I haven't gone back to doing it the other way. I had ruined several shirts by not having it done the correct way and either it moved or something. Parchment paper works really well. I will try the lightbox next time to see if it works for me. Sublimate onto parchment paper/Easy Subli for: 350 for 45 seconds and then Press on to shirt: 310 for 10 seconds. Covering it with butcher paper or teflon sheet. Either works. I stopped doing the "tack" feature after I got rather good at it and just went straight for sublimation myself. I have done several shirts this way and have never had one not come off the parchment paper.

You would want to print using best quality, etc. You would set your printer settings wherever you are printing from.

I have a Cricut Maker 3 and the Sawgrass SG500 printer. Why cant you use the sublimation ink that's necessary for the SG500 on the Siser EasySubli product? Are you switching out the inks and cleaning the tanks inbetween use?
@AngieHolden
@AngieHolden 11 ай бұрын
You can use the Sawgrass ink on it and should NOT switch inks in your Sawgrass printer. Their EasySubli ink does work better than their regular ink for this product but the regular ink will work.

Hello, great video. I just started to use this HTV and i use the second method when you first prepress the previously cut HTV and then you print on it the paper. Hovewer i am concerned about the temperature. Now i press the HTV for 5sec on 385 and then the paper for 30sec on 385, I would like to ask if its ok and if it doesnt damage some material - i am concerned about the effect of this high temperature on some shirts. Would this work on a lower temperature like 315? Also after removing paper from the HTV is not necessary to "cure" the ink for some seconds? Thank you in advance.
@AngieHolden
@AngieHolden Жыл бұрын
You would probably have to play with each brand of HTV to get the best possible results for your setup. I am not sure about "curing" the product. It should be fine after pressing.

you don't need to put anything behind the shirt for the easy subli first method? i watched another video where the lady says it bleeds thru the shirt? Also can you help me with larger prints? the stuff i create is much larger in size (either wider or longer) and then i do a ton of plus size shirts. I don't think plus size and smalls/mediums should be the same size print. Is there a image size chart you recommend for each shirt size and the image being put on them? and how can i get something bigger in one piece since cricut doesn't allow me to do so? what sublimination printer also prints larger? im about to dive into sublimination and want to have the proper tools for my new small business!
