All I can say is, WoW! Thanks Angie! Like you, I CANNOT eyeball line up designs. I immediately bought the 3 piece ruler from Amazon. No more making a shirt and leaving it in my closet because it's crooked! I absolutely love your instructions. You make things so totally clear!

I just needed this today. I made my first designs on two tshirts, and was having the hardest time lining them up without instructions or tools. This was perfect. My next shirt will be perfect (better than the first two. Fortunately they were practice!). Thank you so much. Perfect timing!

Always great information!!!! Thank you for the detailed information and the extra mile you take such as the multiple washes to show how different applications hold up. I haven't seen anyone else go to the lengths you do. Again THANK YOU!!!!!!💐💐💐💐

Thank you for so much great information! I was wondering how to align a pocket design, so thank you so much! That three piece ruler is really cool! I'm terrible at eye balling, too, so I think that would be really helpful.

Thank you Angie - this is so helpful! Just a thought - when using the ruler, could you place your design on TOP of the ruler while you make your adjustments, then holding the transfer piece in place when you're happy with your placement, slip the ruler out. Pop the ruler back on top of your design for a double check. This would work with larger designs so you can hold the bottom half of the transfer while slipping out the ruler.

Maybe? I have a hard time holding it still!

This is a really good video. I have the Tshirt ruler but still have so much anxiety about getting the placement correct. 😂 I just had a thought...it might work to put adhesive pads/bumpers underneath the ruler to raise it up, making room to adjust the htv.
@AngieHolden Жыл бұрын
I thought of that when I was editing. The three piece ruler came with bumpers but you can do the same thing maybe to the other ruler!

I live by the 3 piece tshirt ruler. It helps with keeping your design centered and leveled. For my center design especially when layering materials, I use a dot on my design that lines up with the other layers.

I've seen a lot of iron on products mention they need to be applied to a pre-washed shirt. Do you ever do that? It seems weird to do if I were wanting to sell on or give as a gift to wash it first. What are your thoughts?
@AngieHolden Жыл бұрын
Generally shirts made for crafting - like BELLA+CANVAS - are ready for you to use. The recommendation comes in from the coating that is applied to some shirts in a retail store to get them to look better to you when shopping.
