This was by far absolutely one of the best videos I have watched in a long time. Brant got his pompano, cameraman Ron got his first pier flip and seeing you all together cleaning and cooking that was absolutely great! Wish the beach bum could’ve been there too. I would love to see Ron surf!!! LOL!

Y’all’s meal reminds me of Friday Night at my mothers, & she’d fried speckle trout, shrimp, & potato salad, the beauty of living in St. Bernard Parish Louisiana with a mom who was a great cook, those were the days. Great video Brant, also the guy on a cheap inner tube in the Gulf of Mexico & not knowing how to swim, unbelievable, great job you guys helping him not to drown.

When we were kids we used to get caught in rip currents on purpose, it was fun, but we knew how to swim and we were tought at a early age how to "not fight it ". Eventually you feel the cut and you head back in. Good times, get out and do it again. However I am in no way suggesting anybody try this intentionally.

I rescued 2 of 9 people that got swept out in that exact spot a few years ago. One of the guys I got would have drowned if I had not got him. He was already low in the water and starting to take in water emt said his O2 was 80. Something weird about that spot with the rips on that side of the pier but it is an awesome spot to fish.

I was in PCB in April 2024 and I was surprised how many anglers were there on a Sunday and I loved it. We don't have these kinds of cool fishing piers in Germany. Thanks for the video bringing some great memories back.

Brant, I have traveled through Asia and if a family is lucky they might have one plate of fish for the entire family so they always eat fish whole to get every bit of meat, they make lots of rice and vegetable dishes we are so lucky to be able to eat as much as we want

I love pier fishing when the action is high! The Spanish mackerel is a beautiful speckled fish and the Pompano fish filleted at the dinner engagement looked delicious! I am happy that the life guard was able to save the young man from the dangerous waters! This video was full of excitement and I have subscribed. This was one of my favorite videos. I love Pensacola. It will always be my home, but seven years ago I had to move away, not my choice. But I get home sick a lot, and I love to see videos of places that I have been too. But I liked this video particularly because of the dinner with friends. I envy you. I would like to see a backyard fish fry with all of the local KZbinrs that have fishing channels. I enjoy watching all of you.

So, I'm a native Floridian, my parents were Kinda hippy 1966 lol. They had a house on Indian rocks beach and a house on a lake, lake Keene, Lutz. Anyway, we were at the beach house with all my cousin's and her sister Aunt Trish. My mom floated way way way out and a Greek freighter rescued her and my aunt went and picked her up. Omg my dad was not at all happy.

Many happy days at SoCal piers fishing. One of the deadliest lures I've ever used off Santa Monica and Redondo was simply a chrome sinker with a treble hook. Everything from Herring to Bonita. No bottom fish.

Good friends, a happy story, skin on that’s how I grew up eating pan fried fish. Your shrimp looks like bait shrimp. I wish I had a chance to eat the snapper. In Hawaii, it’s gotten harder to find decent size snappers. Even if you have a boat and can go deep water. I think they have been overfished in Hawaiian, waters. Please continue to make great fun videos.
