Jason Mitchell and Tony Roach are the only 2 guys I truly trust for any advice for fishing. Both are so down to earth with many years of experience and both have a soft Humble voice that just so easy to listen and understand.

Why would you not post a photo of each of these baits, in an upper corner?

To be honest I’ve caught more big fish through the ice on a teardrop jig than anything else

jig wins but the vmc tingler spoon has been my go to bait this year for almost every species i target (walters, pike and trout)

EXCLUDING Walleyes -- by far the small Tumbler spoon with 2 wax worms from VMC -- everything from the smallest dinks to 9lb pike -- it's ALWAYS rigged on my TUCR PN with Fluoro... other than that a buckshot

swedish pimple loaded with half dozen spikes. good for that 10-15 maybe 20 fow zone. just ripping it than free falling slack line working it top to bottom it brings out the aggression in fish and is a good Swiss cheese last ice hole hopping tactic.

The weirdest lure I've ever seen ice fishing was a floating Rapala with 3 minnows attached to the treble hooks and a slip sinker. It sounds kind of cookie but the man had at least for really big walleyes laying on the ice on the Jim River in Huron South Dakota.

Chuck Englert I could see that working on a river, would be an odd way to fish tho

My biggest fish through the ice come on a live minnow hooked on a teardrop jig. And a swedish pimple tipped with a jensen egg always produces fish no matter what.

Productive, guess a person could break that question down it by fish species and maybe possession limits(if not practicing C&R). A form of a Jig and Hook then is the most all-time productive Ice Fishing Lure. Basic and many forms of a Tear Drop Jigs still produced by many today probably account for what most have tied on the end of their line's for Gills, Crappies and Perch(plus the occasional bonus species). Heck, even popularity of Ice Fishing for Whitefish and Tulibee which you catch numbers of the lure of choice seem's to be some form of a Jig and Hook.

I never caught a big fish and I'm native, lol. Maybe I don't go out enough, maybe I change my hook to many times? Idk maybe I'm using the wrong bait! Fml I even bought a new jiffy, 10 inch auger. A new tent, new rods.
