Played this earlier, got a homeless guy up to 1200ish might with the beauty of traveling backwards in time. I also made 1000 copies of the king in yellow.

Something really useful I found is when you get offered three different tags to get a card from you can choose bind at the top and it will remove all cards with that tag from the pool You could also have moved the theatre to the second slot and locked the first slot so that nothing could go next to your theatre

The ultimate version of the King in Yellow strat involves also running a city. get a globe on a city, then everyone who dies generates an extra person, so you never run out. however, i'm pretty sure the funniest strategy is Evolve Tribal. Shub, forest, and... i think it's an amniote? every board ends up as a full draw, with 3 extra spirit per draw, per shub. theres also discard, which involves mountain of madness and proto-shoggoth, and then it doesn't matter what else is in the deck, just throw it all in there. doesn't scale very well with endless mode from what i remember, but very fun

Eldritch gods are almost as bad as the Emperor in the first Dune game. That guy wants more spice than the planet has by the end. You should give that a go. You might like the resource and tactic management aspect of it.
