This reminds me a bit of the book series Wardstone Chronicle. Especially the first ones, where they are just pretty normal dudes dealing with the occult with occult shit. Like, to bind witches use silver and rowan wood, then bury them head first so they can't dig up when they come back alive as zombies. Salt and iron for many types of monsters!

Feels like it laid the spooks on a little bit too often, it was always presenting a predictable jump scare (ie. you knew it was going to jump scare you at the end of every scenario) without building tension in between

month old comment, but just getting around to watching this and was scrolling to see if anyone mentioned what was in the hatch and saw this. iirc, the demon was bound with the Reagent that was added with the embalming fluid + the clay sigil with the demon's name mark laid on the body's chest and then burned. They showed all that :)
