"Fur Shark" owner here.. Yes they love people, but only the people "in their pack." Our doberman is so gentle and loving to my 3 kids (ages 4 to 9) and will protect them with her life. Any delivery person to our home can attest to this, if they come on the property while the kids are outside.

Next: What you car says about you? Me? I was looking for a Tall, Clam dog, for my Dad who had sever arthritis, and couldn't bend down to pet most dogs. So a friend keyed me on to Ginger, a 10 month old St. Barnard rescue. Her owner had died from cancer. Ginger gave my Dad the Best 10 years of his elder life. Ginger would sleep on his feet while he watched tv, to keep them warm. And Dad would always split his bowl of Ice Cream with her. She even checked on his breathing ever night, before she would go to sleep. They were Besties. Eat, Sleep, Poop, for both of them. No running, no playing, just hours of petting his friend.

No lights on in the house, I pointed to Ginger. She growled, and made 1 Bark. Both guys took a step back from the house, and then the one said to the other. "Ni66er, you said they was NO God Damned Dawg here?!!? #2 replied, I cantz know everything! #1 Turned a ran back to a car parked down the street. I open the mail slot on the back door, and fired my pistol out thru it. #1 took off like a Rabbit! I emptied the clip at their car, which was found the next day 3 blocks away, with 11 new holes in it, and a lot of blood inside. Ginger knew they weren't coming back, because of her Bark. lol! She was a gift from Heaven.

🤣🤣🤣You are a hoot, thank you. I am not sure I actually chose my dog. About 4 years ago our 16 year old Labby (Queen Abbey) passed away and I thought it was time to get another. I always wanted a GSD and the local shelter had one with the same name as the queen. When I went to check on her she had been adopted the previous day. They had another dog however which they thought might be a good fit for me. Turned out he was an 8 month old Rottsky. I and my adult step daughters fell in love with him so now he has joined the family. He will definitely be more of a challenge than the queen but he is remarkably chill (most of the time).

Bumped into a bloke who got an Irish Wolf Hound". Hell I'm a Hobbit.. 5 foot 6...this thing when sitting up was my head height. Huge is an under statement. It's snout, with big teeth, was as long as my forearm. They were breed as War dogs...and had Armour for fu$KS sake...anyway this behemoth was a pup at heart and this poor bastard lamented that "if I lay down on my bed he'd hop up and lay on me. I had a Bluey/Kelpie & she was a great dog. Mad as a cut snake, loved chasing tennis balls & used to swim halfway across Lake Macquarie when I took her for swim. Had her 15 years. Best dog I've ever owned. So yeah Nikki got it right for both breeds. Hahaha. 😂
