Nah man. Where I live, students should get a grasp of the vehicle on a big parking lot and if they mess up on public roads like stalling a mile of traffic, the instructor needs to take over. Being a learner doesn’t mean ruin everyones day. That’s why this instructor is also terrible. Just talking shit, making KZbin money but not teaching the students anything.

@xavierpoes4985 Жыл бұрын
yeah, agree. he is not that good at handling gear stick+pedals, but he'll get there. myself always having driven on my right, would have a nightmare adapting to going to left, specially in roundabouts.
@jasminejackson34855 жыл бұрын
tbh that idiot who stuck his fingers up and got angry should understand that it was a learner who clearly doesnt know the roads well and doesnt have a full understanding of the roundabouts, its so immature. yes the learner shouldnt have done that but there was no need for a stupid immature reaction. it was clear that the car had an L plate and didn't do it because he was a reckless driver (like some experienced drivers do). they should remember that they were also once a learner.
@projectxgaming5 жыл бұрын
the problem is that even cars without L they do the same. In roundabouts our lanes arent marked like un UK and u can basically turn left from every lane u are. The only difference uve to watch out is for the incoming traffic behind u. Also ive seen so many illegal U turns made by people who got their driving license or people who U turn where u arent supposed to do it. Learner or not if the driver is changing a lane where he shouldt change if im close to him ill 100% horn on him. Also for the driving instructors plz learn the students to use horn once in a while.

Project X Gaming simply horning to let a driver know they’re in the wrong is completely different than giving someone the finger. one is deliberately meant to be rude. anyone who just throws the finger up willy nilly is an asshole.

Adding the camera into it is bound to make the learner even more nervous too. I bet it is constantly in the back of their mind that lots of people will be watching his driving lol. I mentioned this in another video but can you do a mock test with someone who passed years ago? and see how many faults they get after picking up multiple bad habits. I passed 10 years ago and I know I have picked up a lot of habits along the way too but I still enjoy watching these videos.

I don’t like his turning technique personally I hate feeding the wheel I feel it is more dangerous for beginning drivers
@Horizon301.5 жыл бұрын
It’s actually a good idea, it prevents bad habits like the old crossing your hands over and not being able to turn the wheel, once you pass and drive yourself you stop the feed the wheel crap but you also won’t ever make any mistakes where you cross hands over either.
@Evokyr5 жыл бұрын
It's really out dated, all cars have powered steering nowadays, so they should change it
@Horizon301.5 жыл бұрын
Evokyr it’s not related to power steering, it’s so your don’t cross over your arms and not be able to turn the wheel and then end up not tiring enough and hitting something.
@Brooksy_YT5 жыл бұрын
Dude_plays couldn’t agree more, I learned with one instructor that didn’t care about arm crossing and I never had one issue. The he retired, I had to switch and now have one that tells me to feed the wheel and I now find myself over steering some of the time.
@blademanx5 жыл бұрын
i usually did that when driving a sports car as the wheel is heavier. but not feeding just not crossing your hands. Actually its a technique many racing drivers use. Gives better control

I do find learners annoying when im in a rush but never have i sworn, horned, or even given a dirty look in the direction of a learner. Just be patient. Everyones a beginner at one point. I'm still on week 2 of learning and I'm doing it in India. It's so much more complicated and I made so many mistakes last week, but this week so far has been better ever since I came across your channel, a friend to send them to me. I can't help but be envious how much less complicated driving is there without the worry of trucks, large buses, auto rickshaws, and bikes. None of which nobody follows lane rules.

12:19 whilst the vehicle in front has positioned correctly close to the centre line to turn right. When i'm on a road like that I'll always keep car little more to the left. The problem with being so close to the centre line. Is that too many drivers especially young boy racers or inexperienced drivers or a large vehicle, have the habit of cutting corners on junctions too quickly, and if you're close to the centre line you risk more likely a side collision on your vehicle. On a junction like that, vehicles turning left wouldn't get along side a vehicle turning right. So as long as you had your indicator on, you should be fine I feel.
