It definitely goes to show that respect and fear can be sensed. I love how Kevin isn’t afraid, and shows the snake that he’s not in danger, he’s respected and it’s ok and the “Psycho” snake is just so chill and relaxed. The Bob Ross comment is epic. Instead of happy little trees and bushes, he has happy little snakes and lizards😂.

Gaboons are one of the most "handsome" snakes. We have a few nasty buggers here in Australia, including the deadliest; the Tiapan, but he has nothing on the Gaboon! The G is just such a cool looking snake. @@rmarley2100 - Lol..actually, it is a warning. My comment was me being sarcastic, but gaboons are actually quite spectacular when they are upset! I saw a gaboon once trying to attack because people were harassing it and I wish I was recording because that snake moved SO quickly and it moved like it was a snake a fraction of its size. They seem placid and lethargic, but they literally go from 0 to 60 in a second and it is so sudden and quick that you don't even process that it just happened. The quickness is incredible!

Incredible animals, your dedication and care to them is wonderful and inspiring. Seeing that "crazy" snake become calm was amazing. I'd love to see videos on your venomous species, and hear their stories, where their species lives, about their colorations, venom, and such; your knowledge on reptiles is invaluable, Kevin!

What do you mean that the”crazy snake became calm”? That hes nothing to do with tje, thats just how gaboon vipers do. And in this video i dont think the care was well for it at all. They let it fall from 2-3 feet and used thin hooks that can damage its spine. I know im late just wanted to get my point across. Please do inform me if im wrong about anything

I noticed that to. It didn’t even have substrate in its enclosure. It just went straight into the hide because he was scared. However some animals are just not meant to be kept in captivity especially wild caught

Snakes scare the daylights out of me but, I love to watch them and visually study them. The nearest I've gotten to one was back in 1971, in Arkansas, it was a Copperhead. Sadly, I wound up killing it with a shotgun when it tried to bite me but in retrospect, I wish I hadn't done so.

"They have long fangs" instead use it as a teaching moment, they have the longest fangs of all snakes. PS Kevin you are great! Some members of your crew, like the guy handling the gaboon, not so much! Please put heavy bodied snakes at the lowest level.

Love your videos Kevin, and how you interact with your snakes! Not so positive about the venomous handler, letting a gaboon body slam from 2-3ft and using skinny hooks which can cause damage to the snake as well, due to it’s heavy body. Disappointing.

It is so amazing to watch you handle snakes. You are truly the best. I appreciate this so much better than the sensationalized (can we say the Reptile Channel) videos with people giving snakes a bad image because they stress the animal out. Both snakes featured had the most amazing markings/patterns (or paint jobs for the Bob Ross in you) I've ever seen. Especially the gaboon viper...stunning.
