Tbh at this point I don’t even want a new game . I just want more updates. Maybe we turn garbs island into a proper city . Add more villagers . New shops . New items MORE MONTHLY ACTIVITIES FOR OLDER PLAYERS TO REMAIN ENGAGED( eg a few updates per month )

It's not a live service game, what do you people want it to be? Greedy like sims with countless DLCs and expansions? Heck no. It's a traditional title and it should remain that way.

@@Sparkbomber I agree that we should get a new game , new graphics , etc . But . For the players who want to play now until it’s released Presumably 2026 . We want something to go back too. Maybe not live service but more free dlcs or paid ones . If the dev team for acnh can work on a new game so easily they could spare some ideas in the current one . I am not asking for a whole game twist but just some small things here and there

At least we can all enjoy our Deserted Island Getaways while we wait for the next port or brand new installment for the series to come out for the Switch 2. Personally, I'm surprised they didn't save Pocket Camp: Complete to be some sort of Switch 2 eShop exclusive on that console since it's claiming to have loads of years of content if you never played it before, but oh well...

@@zariarogers2846 Everybody always says this but the pocket camp items would need so much work to fit in with the rest of the NH items. NH has much higher texture quality than pocket camp and the items scaling is very different too as Pocket camp was designed around new leaf's designs. They've kept the graphical fidelity fairly low on pocket camp so it can run on a wide range of devices, unlike NH where they only had to optimise the game for a single piece of hardware.

@@lexiw.145 stay mad because they don't pander to modern gaming incentives to make money, which further proves my point that they are from greedy, at least the least greedy a corporation can get. They value their legacy and the tradition of their games. If they are greedy, they could easily make bank in all their IPs by just putting it out by name and no quality. They could easily make money by making animal crossing a live service since everyone wants that so bad. If they're lazy, any games they have made would've been lackluster, but Instead they keep innovating and all their games are top quality and polished, you can't even argue about that fact, you can only argue their games are not to your taste.

Toe beans be too cute 🥰 Also glad that the next-gen Switch will be backwards-compatible, it would suck if I couldn’t use my physical copy of ACNH otherwise. Also hoping they release the older AC games at some point on Switch Online, since they announced the service will carry over to the Switch 2.

I love toe beans! I bet ACNH will run a lot smoother on the Switch 2! The only question for me is...when I get the Switch 2, do I transfer my island (I got ACNH 3 weeks after it came out...have never restarted my island!) or do I start over?

I would hope it would but this may not be the case, as it may be that it runs very similarly for compatibility reasons. Either every game will get a boost (least likely), or nintendo will have per game patches to improve performance with specific games (I could maybe see this with the biggest selling 1st party titles) or the games run exactly how they would on the original switch for stability and compatibility reasons.

At the very least, without a patch, loading times should vastly improve simply due to improved and modern chips and hardware 🥳 We already see improvements on the newer oled for example. It will be even better with 2025 hardware 🙂

I think they are doing all these new spinoffs and merch because they are trying to bring the community back and when it is back almost completely they will release the next animal crossing game also I like toe beans EDIT my notifications OMG I'm popular

I want a new game where we get to build in an area twice the size of New Horizons with a minimum of 12-15 villagers. And not only that but stores that you can decide who works there which will also change the type of items that will be common there. And be able to decorate their homes inside and out like HHP. Maybe this time it will be a small town by the beach. You get to decide at beginning of game what side of the map the beach is on. And the other side is land locked. Instead of a plane it will be a bus to take you to other players. And you can move your city hall. The more ways we can design the area the better. Makes more unique opportunities simply by adding a few small changes

Acnh is such a good game, it's definitely a good game to kill time and relieve stress for sure! I'm also still trying to get every item in the game possible, I finally completed my museum a few months ago and earned 5 stars but sadly, I lost a star because there's a bunch of items lying on the ground on my island😭but I still got the golden watering can I think! you definitely deserve more subs!❤

I got the feeling the next animal crossing game will be out in 2026. I think that the new console will come out in summer of 2025 and release things like a new Mario 3D game and other things like Mario kart 12. Then release other titles later. Also I hope they update New horizons if a new game comes out and in the new game they can have something like paradise home designer.

Well, Toe beans then. What I am most excited about is that the new Switch will be backwards compatible, but I still want to know the sell point of it. Of course it would be nice if it has some umpf when it comes to power, but I already have a Switch, and power requarments will always increase, so why should I buy a new Switch. I hope we get a presentation of it soon.
