We were made to move and I believe if we revert our bodies back to primal movements and move how we’re supposed to we’d have less physical problems.
Play is an important part of child development and it can continue to develop us as adults.

Yeah, I 'discovered' crawling and animal movements back in 2019 via GMB. They've been amazing, they plug the holes created by traditional strength training and are really effective for increasing mobility. One benefit for me is that I'm a tall guy (6'2) but I'm now really comfortable operating in tight spaces when I need to which was not a case a few years back - bending and twisting is just that much easier.

I love your passion for this type of fitness! And your belief that we should never stop moving really inspires me! It’s so easy to take for granted those basic human behaviours like playing, or crawling, that are so essential to our development. Everyone is s proud of their babies when they start crawling or learning to play, yet as you say, somehow as we get older we sadly go backwards. I guess it begins with learning to sit at the desk at school all day, or learning to eat at the dinner table - normal things in the world as we know it, yet back at the beginning of civilisation no one would have been doing this. Definitely food for thought! My favourite part of ‘playtime’ is being able to exercise my creativity, as well as the laughter and fun that can come from just being silly and free 😀 Excellent video, let’s do more animal moves in bootcamp haha and more ape runs 😄

As always, really clever use of whats to hand (or not in the case of bodyweight stuff). We do a few primal moves in Battle Box but you've got me thinking of exploring these more now!

Rikki, these animal moves looks cool. Nevertheless, when these moves performed consistently over period of time, my body will be far more mobile. Great Video. 🙏From India

Yes for sure! We may have learned to do these types of movements when we were young but we can lose it if we don’t use it! Use it and improve it 👍🏼🐒🙏🏼

Great video as always! I've just started doing Animal Flow stuff, the crawls absolutely kill me! I can't do the basic videos on the Animal Flow site, I have to break it down and do about 10 or 15 mins of the video, then continue with it the next session. Hah!

Yeah it’s all tough going! I’ve only really ever used it interspersed with other bodyweight exercises like in a circuit

5:20 Especially The Knuckle Walk In 4:38 And 6:11 Makes The Grip Better, And Strenghtens The Knuckles. And The Reptile Crawl In 4:43,4:58, 5:00, And 4:34 Are The Best OneS in my Opinion, Because You Use more Strength To Pull yourself While Also Almost Hugging the Floor
