Absolutely nailed it. I needed to eat every 2.5 hours and even in the middle of the night while in prep. Timing, macros and what you consume is imperative. Everyone need to understand their own program. Trainers can guide you but they have to own it. I took my diet and training regiment on my own after my first show. Meal prep is a must and as important as training and every other aspect of prep. Eating whole foods and staying away from shakes is optimal if possible.

Somebody should do a video for the night shift workers. 11pm to 7 am. Maybe it's the worst shift ever. I sleep during the day, and I I try to squeeze my training sessions an hour before my shift starts.

I do 7-7 night shift. Train 5pm then straight to work. Protein and oats pre workout usually and a big shake afterwards with some kind of carbs to eat when I get to work

I have done prep diets for firefighters and police that swap between day and night shift. By far the hardest ones to prep and manage fatigue

I work 10pm to 6am, i workout straight after work, have a postworkout meal, sleep, light breakfast around 6pm, main meal at work around 3 am, then preworkout snack. I want to fast from waking up till 3am but it's damn hard to get all the calories in

How the heck do you get up and hit the gym so early? I have tried but I feel like I need to wake up and warm up a bit before lifting. Do you have a morning routine to help you get mentally and physically ready for the gym so early? Just curious and trying to better myself.

@@Traffamily It takes some time to get used to if you aren’t used to it. I do take fury pre workout as well! It’s a massive help!

@@TraffamilyIt’s easy. You set an alarm at 5 am. It goes off. You wake up. You wash your face, and brush your teeth. You get dressed. You drink coffee, or pre workout. You drive to the gym. You either start your fasted cardio, cardio with meal 1, or a training session. Literally that easy. Either you want it or you don’t. Alarm goes off. Get up. Literally again that easy.

What about a warehouse worker you keep mentioning desk workers?

Oh for sure, scheduling might be the same with limited eating times. For a warehouse worker we are now having to address fatigue and activity more so. So we might need some quick snacks on hand if they don’t allow meal breaks. Animal Meal would have great application here for something to chug down out on the floor

What about a guy that works a hard labor job and can’t eat every three or 2.5 and has to work more than 4 hours straight

I currently got my macros at 2500 calories a day, I push them back and don’t start eating till 6pm so I have all my food to eat at night but I trained legs last night in the gym and today at work was real hard having to food, but if I eat some of my calories in work in the mornings i want have as much ti eat at night and I will struggle at night not to over eat on my Marcos 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ My Marcos are 2,500 calories 188 grams of protein 219 grams of carbs 97 grams of fat I am 105kg at 6ft and Training real hard and consistently and I am also on SUS (test) but the cutting weight is so hard for me

You definitely could cut the fat down to 60g and free up 333 calories for carbs or protein (about 83g of both together)

That sounds like a tiny amount of calories for someone your size. I get that you're cutting. I weigh 180 and cut on 2500-2700 calories. You've got 50 lbs on me. It sounds like you're trying to cut real fast instead of a slow and steady approach.

@@FLOYD-MAYWEATHER-TBE Also now that I just re read and see you’re on test You can drop fats to like 30g a day and be fine- you’re getting your hormones from a 25g needle so you don’t need them to create testosterone just your EFA minimums

Eat hardboiled eggs, oatmeal while you get ready in the morning. Ironing, dressing, then brush your teeth before you leave. I found this way to be easy
