I've been practicing this technique and it's not as easy as you make it look. I love this and you did a fantastic job. This may be a dumb question but do they make black watercolor paper so something similar could be done with white ink?

:) This rather an interesting thought. It is not for translucent watercolor. The fundamental difference between this media to other painting mediums, is that it allow light to travel through the colors (paint) to the paper surface then return to our vision. And that is why all watercolor papers are white. To do what you want to do, you can use Gouache and Acrylic, they are not translucent watercolor but water-mediums. Thanks for sharing your thought.
