That pole bear's situation is why I never put the lid back in a can I have opened. When their tong goes past the lid in the can it will get pinned there and trap the bear like this. The tong will then either get cut off or torn off or the animal will starve.or die from dehydration.

Wow nan you're completely wrong about the polar bear. That man tried & tried to get that can off his tongue. But when he failed he had to call in a rescue team & a whole team of vets working on it for hrs. Then they finally succeeded.

How did they get the rope up into the tree before climbing up to save the cat?

Normally they fire a thin rope over the tree and then attach the proper rope, then pull it back over, but how they attach it to the top of the tree is beyond me. 😂😂

There is a longer version of that video, the guy couldn't remove the can so he phoned a rescue team, they sedated the bear and then removed the can.

They'd probably fall if they died in a tree. Lol. I watched a video of a cat rescue from a tree where the cat had been stuck for days. His legs were so tired they were trembling.
