With my limited knowledge, I teach you the bare minimum about animating in Maya - touching on pose-to-pose animation, animation graphs, types of animation modes, setting keyframes, and adjusting the look/ timing of your movements.
Note: I don't really explain the physics behind my choices regarding the animation graphs, but essentially, I'm choosing "spline" tangents for keyframes where the ball reaches maximum height, because the ball decelerates as it approaches that height, so our graph needs to curve towards the top to accommodate that. I use "linear" tangents to connect keyframes where the ball makes contact with the ground, because the ball doesn't slow down as it approaches the ground, instead, it gradually accelerates.
I hope this makes sense, and that the tutorial comes in handy!
