I think the one with the spin is a little better. Great work by the way.

It's nice to know that seasoned pros like yourself get stuck doing frame-by-frame masking sessions now and then. Thanks for showing your faults AND the fix!

Instead of adding a stroke as a layer style to your precomp, just group your shape paths and use the Offset. Except you've got them on separate layers. Hmm, maybe I need to make a script that's essentially the opposite of Explode Shape Layers?

awesome, I'd love to see to see more of these. really helps with thinking on how to go about dewing a project from start to finish.

Great stuff, I think with the spin you could add really cool spinning soundfx 😊👍

Awesome!! Love it.. about the stroke, I just make the drop shadow normal in blending and it work fine with that.

Hey nick! Maybe you could copy the shape of the backdrop and use Offset Paths to create that last black outline. It really depends on the structure of your layers, but I think it would work fine

Great to see your process. Spin is pretty but doesn't fit in my opinion. Spin doesn't align with the sharp slick snappy logo

the ever great Ben Marriott showed a technique where he duplicated the comp, put a simple choker but go into the negatives, and then top with a fill effect. That might also round the corners but it’s worth a shot
@Zengane3 жыл бұрын
just tried it, it also rounds the corners, but it's much smoother
