You did an amazing job with the animations for the alligator man, Louis still looks cute and actually smooth in realistic form, with the same characteristics from the animated movie. Not the uncanny needed down to earth choppy animation that Disney does. People should be taking notes, I am kinda studying a bit of 3D myself too. This looks amazing. Fun fact, there are in fact crocodiles that are native to North America. Literally: American Crocodiles. Now that said I don't know how common they were around New Orleans during the time period of the movie, but using a croc rig for Louis isn't super far fetched. And I'm totally not saying that to make my particular southern self feel better after years of correcting people for calling an alligator a crocodile when I've lived around them my whole life. That said, there's so much personality in this animation, I love it so much.

Not sure how this got onto my recommended as someone who despises the live action Disney movies, but by the end, you’ve SO won me over. I still wouldn’t say that I like the live action Disney remakes that we HAVE, but this is so well-animated, and I’ve never really seen the full process for CGI animation documented anywhere before (please note that I haven’t looked or anything I just haven’t stumbled across it until now), so this was super cool to watch. Also, the animation is so well-done-I really wish Disney got people who put this much personality into the realistic characters to work on the movies (or… more so, I wish Disney LET them put personality and emotion into the characters. I’m sure most, if not all of them, want to). Sorry if this has been redundant, I’m mostly just gushing, because this is great and has genuinely given me faith in the biliary for a live-action remake TO be good and have its own charm. Disney just definitely isn’t doing that.

Great one yet again! I think the most underrated KZbin channel. I think as an animation community we all should comment and like all your videos for the algorithm to show it more.

I can definitely see The Princess and the Frog becoming a live action movie in the future if Disney were to hire Edwin Schaap.

Like, it’s still horrifying, but in a … charming sort of way? I like it but I kind of feel like I shouldn’t? Either way, bang-up job. Impressive as hell.

This was incredible!!! Seeing the tail bounce in action after you put so much thought into how it would work in a realistic setting was so satisfying. Seriously this is stellar work! Disney needs to take notes, this is how you approach live action! Keeping the same love the original had, and expanding upon it in live action!!!

@EdwinSchaap Nw! Thanks to you man, this is the most realistic trumpeter crocodile I've seen 👏

I love this! Imo, it looks better than many of Disney's live action movies. The movements of Louis' torso and head are amazing. And the tail bounce! It's little nuances like this that sell CGI and animation to an audience, not hyperrealism and accuracy.
