Another banger of a video!! Quick question: for the Testors paints, those bottles are fairly small. Do you need to stock up on a lot to do a single painting or does a bottle of a certain color go the distance? Like the Sage Naruto you did used a lot of orange and yellows. Was that multiple bottle being used there? Thanks for the tips brother!!
@Theartofkirkabrigo4 жыл бұрын
The size is deceiving. The paints or very opaque, so you dont have to use as much when you lay it down. So not much layering needed. just one coat is all that you would need. Takes me awhile to go through a bottle. for the price it's totally more than worth it. It's good to stuck a few of each color for practical purposes. But not because they run out too fast. Also, Thank you for the kind words, Antonio.

Do Testors Enamel paints mix well, or do you need to buy a bottle for each separate color that you use? Have you tried using layers of enamel and then layers of acrylic for the background? Does that create problems?
@Theartofkirkabrigo3 жыл бұрын
Testors enamels mix very well. But you do have to mix them in a bottle. They don’t sell empty bottles so I usually just buy a few thinners and empty them into an empty glass bottle that I also bought just for that. Then use the small Testors bottles to mix the color I want to mix. There is nothing wrong with using acrylics and enamels on the same piece. They work very well together. JUST DONT MIX THE PAINTS. ( meaning don’t mix acrylic yellow with enamel red to get orange.) that would be a disaster waiting to happen.
@Theartofkirkabrigo3 жыл бұрын
One more thing. The Testors are inexpensive so I basically buy as many colors as I can. But when I have to mix I mix it as I previously mentioned.
