I thought people we're exaggerating wenn they said stuff like "this inspired me" or "that really changed my life" But slowly watching your videos has changed my perspective on that. Your Ban analysis, especially, all your seven deadly sins character videos, and very much your last few videos, like this one. I don't know what it is, maybe it's the contrast to your usual happy fun content, that moves me, and slowly changes the way i think about stuff. God damnit, it's just videos about anime, but somehow, to me, you make it so much more

Im with you a bit. Perhaps not as strongly. But let me just add this in. JFK, a man with genuinely noble intentions. Stuck up to the mafia, that his father worked with. Hoover, and many other powerful families & people, who’ve had no issues with murdering people. His biggest influence was a play ~ a story, of Camelot. The world is an imperfect place, and it’s full of reasons to give up, full of uninspirational people. the closest thing to perfect, the place, that’s full of inspiration is in fiction. We live in a world, where the most highly educated, most intelligent & successful people, tend not to have children, then they complain about society ~ Fiction is so powerful, look at those who chase it & believe in it that they worship the characters in it.( The Bible & Quran as an example) A Christmas Carol, changed Christmas as we know it today. Christmas was not always about, family, love, gift giving, helping those without. A single author impacted the world. Now, to anime ~ Mangaka, are some of the greatest writers ~ comics in the west are viewed to be for children, but that’s not the case in East Asia. ( Kanji being incredibly difficult, that newspapers recently reduced the amount of Kanji per article, so more people could read it. Not only the higher educated.) Take a hint, with how most Mangaka, are incredibly well read, have influences from all over the world. ( Prior to having access to the internet.) I don’t know you, but going by your comment, I thought you might find this line of thinking, interesting in the very least.

Plus Black Clover isn't held as one of the best anime of all time by the general populous, and it's definitely not as mainstream as MHA. And if you do like Black Clover, odds are you've read the manga. And he's in the anime.
@jantheking70284 жыл бұрын
@@crocuslament9680 What are you talking about? The Black Clover anime is still wildly popular, it is consistently top 5 most popular show on crunchyroll, and it is consistently Tokyo Tv top 3 shows. It is One of Studio Pierrots modern top 3 sucessful shows. The manga is top 10 in terms of sales, only 3 places behind MHA. If I'm being honest, the first 20 episodes of Black Clover was pretty bad. But considering the later episodes like episode 40+, I've enjoyed Black Clover more than other modern anime such as Fire Force, My Hero Academia, and Demon Slayer. The only thing Black Clover does worse than those shows is consistent animation, but in terms of characters and story Black Clover is better than those shows imo.

This analysis is the number one thing I love about anime - the analysis of humanity, especially this "sense of self" angle, closely followed by the "love of bonds" rampant in anime. Thank you for making this video! I love Meowth, and Team Rocket were my favorite characters - their backstories are also awesome, but their bond was something you just couldn't help but root for them for. Shinsou is one of my favorite characters in BNHA, and the meta discussion of discrimination is one of the best aspects of it - it's my favorite part of reading the fanfiction, honestly, especially how Izuku himself fits into it in the canon! He ached to answer Shinsou because he _understood_ what he was feeling, _knew_ what discrimination felt like first hand, but he just couldn't share it. It was a fantastic match, and I'm looking forward to learning the details of exactly how Shinsou pops up again firsthand rather than through spoilers. I haven't seen Black Clover yet, but I'm really excited about Zora! I stopped right before getting into the meat of the Chimera Ant arch, but I know a lot of the details already, but I'll watch it once I'm prepared for my heart to get reached out. I know this arc is gonna be one of the best I've ever seen among anime, and it's gotten a lot of love and praise from the fans for good reason. I'm really excited you chose Meruem, and am looking forward to watching his story! He was a really great example, especially with the way you analyzed him! With Hinata, his biggest obstacle isn't that he's short, it's that he's STRAIGHT UP not good at volleyball. He has one (1) skill and that's jumping high, but he can barely hit a ball. Much of the anime is training up his one (1) skill and actually learning the rest, and getting GOOD at it. His passion, love and effort, combined with the comraderie of his teammates and opponents alike are what helps him actually improve and grow as a person. I love Haikyuu for how REAL everyone feels, and you get to know everyone and all the teams at people, and matches feel a lot like lose-lose situations because you come to like EVERYONE. Everything else was about correct, though. My sister recently watched the Katakuri fight, and from we had both come to really like the character, and I intend to get back into One Piece sometime and look forward to getting to meet him. The way you analyzed him and their fight was really amazing, because while a lot of fights with Luffy are ideological in nature, you really got to the heart of this in a way that personalized it to the audience. I knew a lot about him already, but I hadn't quite understood why Luffy won like he did, and you put it into some amazing words! Seriously, thank you for this! This whole video was amazing!

Honestly Pokemon was just way too real XD. Even as a kid watching Pokemon, I never once saw Team Rocket as anything other than lovable goofballs. I used to sing along to the Team Rocket motto. Team Rocket were my *parasocial* friends XD. I remember in one season(I think in Unova, but I don't remember exactly) where Team Rocket kinda stopped goofing off and were actually being serious and are working on a top mission to capture some Legendary pokemon. They were actually competent. I remember watching this season and feeling like I lost my friends. It was like the same feeling you got when you had summer break and you missed friends you hung out with everyday in school. When that season ended and Team Rocket were back to their adorable goofball PIkachu hunting version, I cried, a lot 😂. Felt like the day when summer break ended and you got to meet your friends again.

Just prepped and sorted my break in the day to watch especially because I knew this type of Nux's video is pretty damn special,and it was too. There's many themes in anime that makes me react so much more than tv soaps etc. Nicely done Nux, nicely done.

IMO you missed the point why Katakuri and Luffy behave the way they behave. Katakuri started to take on the stoic persona after Bruhle was attacked, he reasoned that if he was more cold/dignified she wouldn't have been scarred for life as retaliation. Luffy had this moment after Ace died and he concluded that he needed strength to protect those important to him. They both analyzed their situations and came to a conclusion what they lacked to protect those important to them. Luffy needed power, Katakuri needed respect.

The royal knights arc so far is adapted so badly by Pierrot studio but I still hope that they improve the animation because this arc has so much potential and because of the introduction of Zora.
@jantheking70284 жыл бұрын
They did improve it, but only at the ending. The animation became good during Finral vs Asta and it stayed good for the rest of the arc for fights such as Yuno vs Rill or Asta vs Langris or Luck vs Rill

Didn't Mewtwo said that in the movie? 25:40 This has been a point of contention for me for some time. Luffy has shown healthy libido previously in the series, on par with the rest of the men, namely when Nami flashed the boys at the end of Arabasta arc he reacted the same as everyone else. I think there are more examples but this is the one that comes to mind. So why is he suddenly asexual when facing the literal "femme fatale" of the OP universe? Well, besides for plot reasons, my take is that Luffy had just been separated from his crew in a traumatic experience, he was shell-shocked.

For as long as I'm watching anime I'm baffled how other people don't get it. How can you watch anime and not get what it has to offer, what it is teaching and how precious it is? Please continue with these, Nux. The world needs it.

Im kinda disappointed you didnt talk about Shigaraki Tomura in your Boku no hero academia section, whatever he touches with his hands crumbles. Think about what he may have accidentally done as a child and you can easily see why he turned out the way he did. Could have been just playing with his friends at the orphanage and accidentally murdered them all for example. But still, absolutely amazing video. 10/10 would recommend, very cool nux, very cool
