Zeno and Jason's interactions are my favorite parts of this video. I've been rewatching MHA, this time in dub, all to prep for S7. It's all for Hawks stuff cause of Zeno and Hawks is my new comfort character to write for and soon Imma rewatch all of S6. Now I can see the reason for Dabi Hawks cause of their VAs chemistry and banter~!

Zeno is such a delight. I love the wave of newer voice actors, where its mostly people who were nerds growing up on anime and video games like the rest of us. So much fun to listen to. (Of course, still love veterans like Chris, Monica, and Kyle too)

Why don't American voice actors come out with a new generation of young voice actors? Are voice actors not popular? Japan has a lot of young voice actors, and the audition rate is very competitive, so talented voice actors are born.

It ain’t easy. Sure it gets frustrating that they use the same people over and over. You still got to audition, and the casting usually picks actors they’ve worked with before and know what they’re capable of.

Some animes like Sk8 the Infinity have newer younger actors. Haikyuu has a lot too. It really depends on the studio and who auditions and what sort of voice the director is looking for. I've noticed with Funimation shows they tend to use a lot of the same actors, which I don't mind personally cuz it gets me excited for the characters, but smaller studios I've noticed use lesser known actors.

Didn't like the judgment in the captions. People are always going to request lines in character voices or ask this cast what quirk they'd like to have. It's like asking Maile Flanagan to say "believe it." There's no need to judge them for it
