I knew this young couple years and years ago who got married and had children. They found out years and years later that they had the same father who was keeping two separate families who knew nothing about each other and that the two were, thus, half-siblings. Even worse, the father knew about it but didn't say anything about it so his cover wouldn't be blown. How the hell the father kept the whole thing under wraps is unknown to me.

The one with the Car noise makes total sense to me. When I was in training to become a goldsmith, I developed the believe, that the simple act of creating something with your hands, imbues that thing with personality, and (even if something is industrialy made by mashines) that the mere existance of something over a longer time creates a personality in objects. Not to the point where an object becomes sentient or something like that, like, for example, with some japanese yokai. But the older an object is, the more personality it has. That's why we talk to inanimate objects like they understand what we're saying, and why some things need a special touch to work, like an old Car, where you have to hold the Key in a very specific way to start the engine.

4:00 It is common practise to just pull new wiring over the old one instead of trying to fix it. Most major city's that are not tourist spots has this almost spiderweb of cables just going above the streets. Looking at this picture, judging from the stafe of the street itself and that... abomination of cables that some of them are not even bothered to cut down the wires to correct lengt and leave the whole roll in there. Just plain neglection and/or embelzed funding.
