I understand your point of view on breaking down the early arcs of Super. Being negative to such a degree can be incredibly exhausting. I had actually planned to make a video with a friend comparing it with the previous shows/series in the franchise (and not-so-subtly bashing it at every turn), but I realized it was shaping up to be far more effort than I wanted to dedicate to something I didn't enjoy.

Multiverse did bring some interesting concepts to the table, but like you said, the execution left a lot to be desired. Checked it out some years ago, and while some things about it were enjoyable, I wouldn't go back and re-read it or even catch up.

I think you should just do animation breakdowns for some of the super episodes you haven’t done already that you find interesting and are important, kinda like what you did with GT. I agree with you when it comes to about all the negativity that comes with the earlier episodes and while I wouldn’t mind to see you do it, I think it probably wouldn’t be as enjoyable due to what you said. Like do episodes 25, 39, 47, 56, etc... the ones that are pivotal episodes.

I definitely agree, that when you hear people say they want Takahashi as character designer, I don't think they know what they're specifying. I think if Shintani gets the proportions right, we'd get the look we want. That Goku thumbnail is my easy example of how they can bring back the older Z look. Shintani's hand-drawn look does most of what people think they want. People who like Takahashi exclusively see it only on the surface and I think overrate him from their impressions.

Your answer to the final question about messing up when not noticing or talking about the right animator reminded me a lot of the spongebob episode pickles. Where spongebob thought he messed up pickle bobs order and didn’t add *PICKLES* to the paddy, and couldn’t remember how to make the burger. I have been watching too much spongebob lately, I think it’s bad for my health.
