Yeah, the quality of production definitely increases from this season. And TFS take on Frieza is just pure gold (Littlekuriboh is fantastic in this role). Can't wait for you to reach the Cell Saga because Cell is at least equal if not even better.

Also just wanna mini rant real quick. What the hell did Super do to Trunks? Blue hair? _Blue_ hair?? We already have a new (also uncreative and stupidly named) Super Saiyan form with blue hair, but also Trunks used to have his granfather's exact hair, which made sense, and then they ruined it! I think, like a lot of things, Toriyama forgot that Mr. Briefs had purple hair, and that Trunks' hair was from his genes.

Dodoria is canonically male in Dragon Ball. Dodoria being female in this is probably a reference to the Greek and Hungarian Dubs, where for whatever reason, they refer to Dodoria as a woman.

Where does Toriyama retcon that? Because in the original manga, Japanese Dub, and literally every other canonical source material included in the Dragon Ball continuity states that Dodoria is male. Dodoria is only ever referred to as female in the Hungarian and Greek Dubs.

Sort-of-Fun Tidbit: During Kaiser and Lani's new commentary series they explained that the "wives are for kissing, not talking" line was taken from a Fantastic Four comic book panel in which Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) says it to Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman). In the comic it was presented as a romantic moment between Reed and his wife, I think reconciling after an argument, even though it sounds like he's saying women aren't worthy of having meaningful conversation. Dr. Briefs, on the other hand, is openly and unapologetically misogynistic toward his "MILF" wife.

I must admit, it was only through DBZA that I realized that Namekians are really an "only-male" species and reproduce asexually. So it is quite legitimate that Dende wanted to know what a woman is. Kinda cute ^^ And how good the voiceacting is you can see at Krillin and Vegeta. Even actors and you do not notice it in the voice that it is Nicholas Landis.

Pretty much totally aside from the point, but an interesting little factoid: Worth noting is that, aside from Abridged (which makes every character totally goofy), in the original manga run, female readership of the comic experienced a massive jump as soon as Vegeta was introduced. Mind you, this was all back in the 80’s, but I’ve always found that kind of amusing.
