A lot of what we know about Aurora are spoilers and theories since it is likely we'll get more info in future volumes of the novel and seasons of the anime. For it's popularity, Eminence in Shadow is fairly young with only 5 light novel volumes while Overlord has 16 or Mushoku Tensei that has 25.

I was going to point that out too. The books say that Alpha only knew her on site, just to say "hi" at parties. I think they said that Beta was pretty much an actual princess, while Alpha was lower ranked.

That was during their childhood. They all lived together with Cid throughout much of their childhood and quickly became friends. Surely you are not suggesting that Alpha and Beta are currently not friends? For some reason, you think Alpha and Beta were adults when they met Cid? Both are still not yet adults even as of volume 6 and are in what is considered their childhood years.

@@brokendevil5029 I am not talking about her besting the other 6 just in terms of strength but in other areas as well. If we consider how smart Beta is, if she tries, she can easily outsmart Gamma and Eta. The other members like Epsilon and Delta won't be able to beat the likes of Gamma and Eta in that area, especially Delta. Beta can handle Mitsugoshi herself, if she tries. Alpha on the other hand only has the advantage of leadership and strength. There are things which Alpha won't be able to manage as nicely as Beta would.

I believe somewhere in the novel, it says that Beta excels in imitation. Like Kise from KurokoBasket. Alpha is the best overall, her leadership skill is so wonderful and her loyalty to Shadow is so fierce, that other girls pale in comparison to her in my opinion.

I have to disagree with this. By Power scaling Delta is the physically best, Zeta is the most talented interms of abilities, Alpha has the best leadership skills and Epsilon on mana control. Beta, Gamma and Eta are only second to them in those power rating. Beta is the jack of all trades with the ability to learn and use abilities. Gamma is basically a less talented Delta in mana and durability and Eta is the genius mechanic of the group. Delta is a full blown monster on battle. Out of all Shadow Garden only Alpha and Cid could match Delta in a match. Zeta is the genius in skills. She can literally learn any ability you show her during a fight. What she lacks is being lazy. Epsilon would be the best in mana conductivity and mana control. As Cid says, out of all the shade, shes the best one in mana control
