Also IIRC, other than her potential beating out Alpha's, Alpha still has the most magical power within Shadow Garden, even more than Shadow himself.

There's a contrast between her backstory and delta's backstory. While delta's family shoved her away to leave her to die, Zeta's didn't and tried to find a cure but died in the process.

@@doriejames7650 It's hard to decide what's worst, because Delta's mom did care for her but died, and her family abused and exiled her. So they both lost loved ones and were betrayed by their clans. Though one could argue that Zeta's case might be worse because her family was murdered, but constant abuse is no joke either.

@@Thanatos35 Nah. It was when they first met. Zeta just lost her family and was captured. She was cursing the world and herself back then. Cid overheard her and decided to pull that "Do you want power?" chuuni speech. When she said yes, he appeared and fire off the atomic as a show off, killing every enemy as a result. Dude just wanted to test his prototype move, but it leave a very lasting impression on her. One of the reasons she developed absolute faith in him, I think.

Zeta is a bit more like Overlord's Albedo in that she has a hidden agenda that she keels from her allies and may turn her into a traitor but it is ultimately done with devotion for her master at heart. Since Alpha is clearly a direct descendant from Oliver, the Elven Hero and Zeta from Lili the Beastkin Hero, I wonder who is the direct descendant of the Human Hero or what was her name. I mean... after all these years, descendants of the heroes are all over the place. That is what possession victims are after all but a direct descendant of the Human Hero... maybe the royal families or maybe Cid himseld?

I hesitate on calling it an outright betrayal as she hasn't gone against Shadow Garden or their mission. Though I do agree that her sub faction is going to cause some issues down the line. All Empires and Oganizations eventually corrupt and decay.

I know that will be happen, but she's not betraying them, she's just extremely fanatical to Shadow if compared to Alpha. While Alpha extremely loyal to Shadow, she does not want to endangering or risking her fellows or the world. Alpha wants to save the world by working from the shadow while Zeta only cares to make their leader become immortal.

Zeta has her own secret branch and their mission is to make Cid immortal and install him as god of the world and she literally willing to slay millions of people's who might or will get in her way, she don't give little two fuck about innocent life, according to her having Cid as god will make world perfect place no more suffering,and her test subject is Clair, and Alpha being Alpha she at least is aware Zeta is backstabbing her and hasn't giving her full reports but she consider her as family because of that she is overlooking her action, which might led to future civil war.
