Always imagine if he didn't start with Sage/Great Sage and having Veldora as a back up magicule supply during his first year outside... He probably be dead or not in any good position really. Those two things really carried him till he was more adapted and aware/confident in his own self. If anything his luck in making friends and bonds is next level power of friendship 😅. Given how much spiritually he is tied to those he names or has co named with like Veldora. Any of the known downsides are negated due to the vast amount of magicule and speed of recovery. Little the fact later on when he practically has infinite magicule 🤣.
