No one was really aware of how influential Roxy was in Rudy's life. Not even his parents realized his fear of the outside world and the paranoia he was dealing with. She was literally his saviour, and not just then, but every single time he was battling his demons. He calls her his goddess, but that looks to be way more literal than we ever thought.

Roxy saw the fear in the eyes of Rudy and understood he was like her. He couldn't leave home just like she couldn't stay home. That fear of all those people looking and judging it is so scary one can't move. Which is why she thought it was cruel the whole party lead her on and didn't tell her Rudy was already with someone. Because that isolation she felt back with her parent came back up right there. She felt a fool. Something only she can understand of Rudy. Because even through she didn't know he was isekai'd their aura was the similar. And it hurts her even more knowing she could never find someone like Rudy after all those years of trying. Nobody else beside them could understand.

The screaming match with Norn hit him more than it would have since he finally came to accept Paul as his father, and now his honest to God sister is screaming and berating a person whose saved his life so many times already, but he can't say anything because he'll ostracize one of them permanently. At the end of the day, though, sylphiette comes in clutch with the "I love him, but my goodness some days I'd like to not have a ball of horn roaming around and someone else can deal with that. I'm taking about you, Roxy, you made the bed now lie in it." 😂

He left himself out of the story about his previous parents when talking to Roxy, but i'd think it's pretty critical to note that Roxy responded to his story by directing her opinions towards what he should do now. Implying that she understood he had experienced the events in the story, even though he hadn't included himself in it.

Something that everyone was going on about in the stream that was cut from this is how it came down to Talahand and Roxy about who would bang Rudy back to his senses. Because Elinalise had told Roxy Rudy was married and that she really shouldn't have s*x with Rudy. So everyone in the chat started joking about how Talahand should have stepped up going "My time has come!" And how hilariously awkward it would be for Sylphie if Rudy brought a "Husband" home, especially because Talahand would be a top.

I think the reason people are mad because in alot of peoples eyes rudy was LUCKY to have sylpie and he reconized that and treated her with the upmost respect even when slyps friend (the princess) made him say he would be faithful all of us felt that he had no reason for another. So i get the bit of backlash especially when people thought this would be the weakest season in terms of people engaging with it. Im just happy they did it the way they did cause in my eyes it was the best way to do it, ofc we can say x y and z about how slypie feels but thats what we have to wait n see 👀

The problem is that by Rudy just giving up, he was basically just abandoning his responsibility to his future child, his sisters, and his wife. He was like a father that just walks away. Maybe they did in the books, I don't know, but why didn't any of them remind Rudy that he needed to go back to his family? It make more sense if he was thinking that they'd be better off without him because he was a failure or something. Instead, it is just him not caring about people and it is all about his own feelings.

My friend also explained some important points of why Lise felt such a need to relay Roxy's feelings to Ruedus and how things could've ended up for Roxy if she was left hanging. Thank you for what you do with the extra context. Even though I've enjoyed these episodes having the skipped content really fleshes out the world, the background and character motivations that the anime couldn't fit in. Also, thanks for the spoiler countdown. I ignored it, since I wanted to know, but think that having the options for those who want the bombshell moment in like... 1.5-2 years should have it. A much appreciated rundown. Personally, I was very satisfied with this season. Now, one thing I'd forgotten about, which also wasn't in this video, was the foreshadowing of how Roxy wanted to fall in love. Recall back on the Demon Continent, Roxy described to Elinalise her fantasy of being rescued from a dungeon, and falling for her rescuer, which ended up coming true. I felt that was a nice touch. People love to hate all over harems, but this series stands out from the rest to me. It's not just another trope, but an integral part of the story, the characters, and the flawed humanity. And personally, I love the revenge against Eris's bs.

I think the Anime also glossed over how dangerous the continent was in general and how the rest of the group originally thought that itd take a yr or so to get back home. Having Zenith in the state she was in aswell as their pseudo leader and strongest combatant mentally and physically unwell also added another layer to it.

One of my favorite things about the anime is the fact that our perspective only gives us information that Rudy would be privy to, minus a few cutaways for set up. There’s a lot of information we miss, but it feels like extremely effective story telling for motivating speculation. And that just lends to conversation around the show. Very good production choice
