ISRO former chief K Sivan recalled his memory of ‘Chandrayaan 2’ and said, “because of some errors we could not succeed”. Thereafter, he expressed joy over the success of ‘Chandrayaan 3’ and said, “My dream came true yesterday.”

Everyone was celebrating and praising ISRO but no one remembered the great Scientist Mr Nambi Narayanan Sir. Chandrayaan 3 used Vikas Engine which was developed by Mr Nambi Sir, His contribution includes liquid propulsion Vikas engine for the launch of heavy launch vehicle. "ISRO scientists hats off! I am so very happy for Nambi sir, his Vikas engine again has proved to be successful with the launch," Thanks to Nambi Narayanan Sir for the Vikas Engine. Sacrificed his career for India to be self sufficient in liquid propulsion manufacturing.

Mr. Sivan cannot be blamed for Chandrayaan 2's failure during the final moments before landers soft landing. During Somanath's tenure they were able to identify Chandrayaan 2's problems,rectify and employed better mechanism to enhance soft landing procedures. Therefore we cannot blame Sivan and draw comparisons with Somanath's successful leadership. I think this will not do justice to Sivan. Excellent job India. Indians around the world are extremely proud of Indian scientists achievements.

Thiru(Sri) K Sivan ji came from very poor family. I have read an article about him like 5-6 years ago which said, even during his engineering days he used to go to college with slippers. He was emotional during Chandrayaan-2 failure because he was carrying the hopes of every Bhaaratheeya during that time. Any big failure will certainly makes us emotional specially when the whole nation wanted it to be a success. He is so happy after the success of Chandrayaan-3.
