Thanks mate. I've never been able to formulate or implement an effective study strategy, and my education has suffered as a result. A lot of pain and self-loathing as a result of identifying as a "bad student." I'm older and wiser now, and taking a higher qualification to further my career. With your Anki videos I now feel pretty confident that I won't repeat the mistakes of my past. I'm excited to start learning again and taking and reviewing notes. I simply never had a study strategy explained to me in such a simple, precise way. So, thanks! (By the way, not a medical student here - I'm studying Linguistics)

Hi Prerak! I am an MS1 and I am struggling with the time consuming part of writing notes on my computer and then making anki cards, which can take hours. I see that you are making anki cards while watching the videos. This seems more efficient. Did you ever just write notes on your computer, or were you using anki as your "notes". Thanks!

Hi Prerak, great video! I am going to high school this school year and am planning to use Anki to study. I watched your video on how you used Anki for more math-intensive classes, which I found very helpful. I was wondering if you could do a video on how you used Anki for other classes such as Marketing and (especially) Language Arts/English. I wanted to know if/how I can apply Anki to that subject. Thank you!

What do you do for things like physiological processes? I ask this for two reasons: 1) because they are particularly heavy on content and its valuable to go through the steps and see what would happen if one of the step was to be stopped for whatever reason. I think because physiology is so process-based, one needs to shift from flashcards to something that can retain more information. 2) Another reason is that since there can be systemic disorders that tap into multiple physiological processes, there needs to be a better way of putting it all together. What do you think? What would you advice for students in that case?

Should I make my anki cards from prepladder ( a video resource for indian exam which i going to give ) or use Anking ... Or both??? Will that be too much ??? Moreover we 23k question in that app .. So even I make incorrect flashcards . That will be more than 6k . ??

I would say anking has a lot of information that we really don't need, unless we are preparing for usmle, and also when using anking we will need additional sources like sketchy, bnb, amboss, but if you search for decks in medschoolankiindia primary source is prepladder or marrow, usually its both

hey prerak how about this idea? First i take notes from lectures in the extra section and include most of the things taught in that lecture....then i make flashcards out of those notes and put the relevant context in the note at the top of the extra column and then the rest of the notes are also in the extra section of all those flashcards I think you did a video on this too Also can we chat?😅😅 Like in gmail or ig

Yep this what he does. But the sad thing is that you cannot make notes with outline method since everything is centered
@tomato778

@@neotugado6783 But in this video he was directly making card from the lecture, his earlier video he shown that he wrote the note first in the extra and then carved out multiple anki cards from it. So which one is a good process? Create anki card as going through the lecture or creating notes from the lecture first in the extra field and carving out the anki cards from these notes later?
