Back in the late 1980’s I spent about 2 hours with her and her husband when they were on The David’s Brudnoy Show, WBZ-AM RADIO in Boston. I was a Film Critic (as was Brudnoy) at the time and living near the WBZ studio, I had a habit of asking him, “who are tonight’s guests”. Well that afternoon, he said Ann Margaret. Before I could ask him if I can stop by, he said he will tell the person at the desk to let me in. Now there were just two people I had wanted to meet. Ann obviously and Buffalo Bob Smith (Howdy Doody’s ‘friend’. Over the years I had my share of movie stars, but Bob Smith brought back my youth, and Ann, well, she brought it ALL! So my dream finally came through. And we even sang a few songs from BYE, Bye, Birdie. I will admit, she does sing a bit better than I do.

this is wrong!! elvis was not married at the time ann margret and elvis made the movie ... about this time priscilla just graduated from catholic high school and elvis was about to make the movie viva las vegas priscilla was living with elvis but not married yet! the relationship ann margret and elvis had was for one year nothing big because elvis didnt care and every co star he was with in films was just a one time fling ... she went alone to the premire from vival las vegas while elvis went home to graceland to be with the love of his life priscilla or cilla as he called her little one and other baby names he called her. while ann was at london the media came out and told her if it were true her and elvis were engaged she said yes she was hurt at the time that she really thought elvis was going to leave priscilla for her but it didnt work because elvis had no intention of marrying ann hsi heart was always for priscilla... but ann fell hard for him and that's her fault she knew elvis had a live in girlfriend at graceland but she didnt care she took that risk and look what happened? she turn to drinking for awhile and i guess her husband roger helped her but when elvis found out what she had said he got very upset and stopped talking to her!! she was confused and asked his buddies what happened to elvis and they said you know that's E she then wrote a telegram to elvis as to what happened between them and priscilla saw it tore it to pieces and flushed it down the toilet. elvis saw what happened and laughed!! he thought that was cute and funny!! two yrs later elvis marries CILLA and ann married roger smith who was already married to his first wife and has 3 kids with first wife while his wife was pregnant with 3rd child he left his wife for ann margret.. so maybe roger was a rebound to ann margret because when she found out elvis married priscilla she thought in the back of her mind that elvis would get jealous but he wasnt and not all the concerts she performed he send her flowers just on the big occciasions no biggie as he always called priscilla after hte divorce and owuldnt leave her alone lol
