Anna has battled Lyme disease since 2010, though she was only diagnosed in 2015 after a friend recognised her symptoms and advised her to get tested.
Up unto that point, Anna was not only having to deal with her own illness, but also accusations that she was either lazy or depressed rather than physically unable to get motivated or even out of bed.
Following her diagnosis, Anna managed to control her symptoms to a degree, but flare ups remained a running theme of her life and, after the latest five-week-long episode, she decided to get help.
After researching her options, she found Neomed.
“I want something that’s a more holistic approach, that will fix my body, that will fix me, and that will give me the right tools and understanding to get better,” she says.
Now in the fourth week of her five-week stay, Anna says it feels like her brain is “starting to switch on again.”
