I’ve been growing up knowing and hearing God’s word, and I always knew I was a sinner. I just never really realized it.
For example, I would lie and be deceptive, and it never bothered me that I was trying to rule my own life.
I would ask God to forgive my sins every once and a while, but I never really meant it.
One night after VBS, I wanted to be a Christian and have Jesus to be the ruler of my life.
I knew if I was a Christian I still wouldn’t be perfect, but I do feel like there has been change in my life. For example, I don’t have the desire to lie as much as I did before.
I am being baptized to draw a picture of my sin being washed away, and I know that someday I will be with God in heaven.
