Gorgeous puppy! Make sure you hide all your shoes! Labs love to chew shoes when they're young. They do usually grow out of it eventually.

The big green chili are called Pimientos de Padron and are excellent to grill in a pan with some olive oil and some sea salt. The people from Spain make tapas from them. They are primarily not very spicy but apparently 1 out of 10 are still spicy. A bit of a entertaining game: Who gets the spicy one ;-) The jalapenos you can still rescue ! Remove the caterpillars and spray them every morning with some soap water with some vinager in the sprayer. Spray them from the top but also from the bottom (Both sides of the leaves). Fresh jalapenos are so nice to make loaded nachos with some sour cream and cheese and some cubed tomato meat.

Tomatoes need to be able to see the sun on all sides, pressed into that corner will board on two sides you may as well try grow them in a box :D ideally just grow tomato plants in pots with pyramid canes, and with pots you can even move them around in they day (which is really helpful for ripening as well, turn them to get even sun)

Tomatoes won't grow vertical without help, you also need to prune a lot of the types. Two pepper plants cross pollinating won't make the bell pepper spicy.

I’d suggest a rechargeable collar, to put on her when you let her out at night, as she’s so dark, you’ll never see her at night, especially with no ambient light where you live. She wouldn’t need it all the time, but my dark brown cocker spaniel is invisible outside, at night!

We have a big dog what they call a Vlcak he's so goofy but when ever he see's a cat pass by the window he wags his tail but when he see's dogs pass by he growls well anyhow , we got a kitten and I've never seen my dog so happy it's his own little cat friend x

You might want to sprinkle in some water retaining crystals into that soil to make sure the plants stay watered in this heat. Also you might want to buy something called nematodes which are little creatures that eat the bugs that are eating your plants. Just sprinkle them onto the soil, water them and watch them do their thing within a few days.

Try deer antlers (naturally shedded). My dog loves them. All the smell and flavour of a bone but will last for months! Great for teeth and jaw muscles, healthy nutrients, and all natural.

Tally is gorgeous. Frozen carrots are good for dogs for when they are teething. They also like to chew the cardboard tube from the rolls of toilet paper. It is messy though. We currently have 4 golden retrievers. I would be interested in seeing you put up the fence. Take care and best wishes

Some tomato plants are a small Bush or tumbling variety. They are a determinate type. Meaning they will only grow to a certain size and mostly the tomatoes get colour all at the same time. If you want a tomato plant that is going to grow tall and put fruit/tomatoes at different times you need a indeterminate type. You can get cherry tomatoes in both types.

Tally reminds me somewhat of the dog I had while growing up, Snoopy. We found Snoopy on the side of the road, by a pond. He looked like a little, chubby, black bear cub. I remember the first time Snoopy saw himself in the mirror attached to the back of Mom’s bedroom door (my sister and I were taking a nap in Mom’s bed) and Mom sent Snoopy to wake us. He caught sight of himself in the mirror and was bound and determined he was going to protect us from that “other dog”! Snoopy was very protective of my sister and I. If anyone came in the yard while we were outside, he never bite them, but instead would grab them by their pant leg and not let them take another step. When my sister and I were in school, Snoopy would relax in the shade all day with our next door neighbor, who was a retired gentleman. One day the neighbor came over while we were eating supper. Daddy told to him to come in, but Snoopy wouldn’t let him - he was again protecting us. Even though Mr. H was his friend, he knew that he didn’t belong in our house. Enjoy your time with your new pup, as it goes by fast. We just lost our 17 year old Pekeapoo, Dixie just about a month ago. I’m trying to psych myself up into getting a new dog, but I feel it may be too soon for my sister. Thanks for sharing - I love to see my fellow Kentuckians doing well for themselves.

Tally is a beauty. It is clear Charley has adopted her. Maggie is not aggressive towards her, just wants to play. Labs and Retrievers make good assistance dogs. My Sister has a Retriever and it loves to help with the laundry. JT she will always be at you heel. Thankyou for rescuing her and being responsible pet owners.
