I'm English and appreciate this respect / acknowledgment from the U.S. but we shouldn't overlook what America has produced, e.g. blues, jazz, Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Nirvana, Phish, Grateful Dead, Jack White, Ween.....

Is that microwave don't break that shelf off the wall I'll be amazed is there a wait of and considering you've only got two or three screws in that back wall 😲🤯 is there a 🤠 in the house doing the job lol😅 the top shelf might be ok if you're not getting heavy stuff on that 👍
@Mike82ford5 күн бұрын
This is hard to watch why are you not putting the timbers on the end so then you can screw in the back of the wall and then both sides of the wall and then put your chipboard on the top and the bottom then you got your floating shelf and then when you put the screws in the back and the sides it will make it stronger when you put things on it just a fool 🤔💯🇬🇧

104F isn't hot? OK.... I suppose -18F isn't cold either? I've experienced both in England. Humidity? Not in a Florida tropical sense, but this isn't exactly a dry country, -1C here can feel colder than -20C in a drier region because of humidity. Bugs? Head up to Kielder or the Scottish Glens and tell me we don't have bugs. .... I give up the whole video is BULLSHIT.

I would not call Sgt Pepper a Psychedelic album apart from two or three songs, whereas Pink Floyd's first album that was released two months after Sgt Pepper is Psychedelic throughout, 'The pIper at The Gates of Dawn'. Also an album released one month prior to Sgt Pepper that beats the Beatles album hands down is 'Are you Experienced ' by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, changed Rock for ever.

The UK delivered a lot more influential artists and albums. What about: - The Who "Tommy" and "Who's Next" - The Kinks "Arthur" (their rock opera) - Deep Purple "In Rock" (most notably "Child In Time") - Cream "Disraeli Gears" - Derek & The Dominos "Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs" - The Stranglers - Iron Maiden "The Number Of The Beast" - Faithless "Sunday 8PM" - Underworld "Second Toughest Of The Infants" - The Prodigy "Music For The Jilted Generation" - Chemical Brothers "Dig Your Own Hole" - Fatboy Slim "You've Come A Long Way Baby" - Jamiroquai "Emergency On Planet Earth"

That Madeleine joke... 😅 Let's just say it's an "If you know, you know" joke. The majority of Brits and some Europeans will get it but it's not one that'll land in the USA unless you're watching UK news channels often. If you really want to read up on it, look up Madeleine McCann on Google. Majority of Brits have a very strong opinion on the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

Personally I'm not a fan of Frankie Boyle, his sense of humour is just to offend and pick on members of his own audience, Jimmy Carr is more leathal by far! Also @2:34 that is NOT a British comedian. That's Aussie Jim Jeffries, as an Aussie he's still learning what jokes are, I keep saying to him... that mirror over there will give you a clue!

JT, I really admire how handy you are at such a young age. Maybe it’s how you’ve been brought up, or maybe it’s just how you country folk over the pond are, I dunno? It seems to be lost on the younger generations here. I could be wrong or maybe I’ve just not been a witness to it around my area, but I don’t really know anyone who’s happy to whip out power tools and create/build something from scratch. So well done

OK JT have you ever seen a real "floating shelf" made? If not watch a pro do it. I'd suggest you watch youtube making floating shelves without brackets. Next time you get the feeling to do this?I'll give you that it's a great job. Did you put a place for the microwave plug to go through?

Its a sthil saw not a skill saw ... Stihl is just the generic company that first started making them so thats how they got the name but its actual tool name is differnt
@Jib23018113 күн бұрын
You should of really drilled holes first and then wall plugs then screws and then spaced out screws around all sides of the brackets as that would never ever collapse, you then could silicon around the shelves as that would make it more neater and no gaps if you are worried about seeing the gaps. That’s just my thought tho but saying that you did a really great job and they all looked really nice in that space.
