10:01 Just get a little Google/Nest Mini and intelligent bulbs, then you can just tell it to turn the light on and off while you're in your bed, I love it. Have em all around the house. Probably around $30 all in and then you can control all the other devices too. 10:39 With all that space around the bed, you could get one of those cupboard arches that go over your bed? You can even get ones with lamps so you can have light without having to get up, can probably even get voice controlled ones. 16:34 You didn't hang cork/chipboard around the dartboard? What if you're drunk or your aim is off? Holes in the walls?!

I would for sure recommended Google home over Alexa. Google has a much wider range of supported devices, (especially the really budget devices) whereas Alexa setting up things that aren't officially supported can be an absolute pain. Once you start down the smart home route it's very addictive, you get all sorts of gadgets and goggles just has much better and cheaper comparability and devices

Can Google home even do routines yet? Stick with Alexa and if you want a cheap home automation look for Tuya products.

Can I make a suggestion for your dart board? Get a nice clean sheet of 8x4 plywood, varnish it then mount it on the wall behind where your dartboard is…………. Saves a lot of damage to the fabric of the wall from mis-throws - they strike the plywood not the fibreboard wall that will end up looking like it has woodworm in it!

That intro was funny. Especially Anna's "It's a camera and a tripod... they can't..." made me chuckle there. House looks really nice. very glad for you that you're finally in, even if there's still stuff needs fixing. Kinda great that the windows go low enough that the dogs can see out. Anna, plenty of hot honey & lemon'll help with that congestion. mix a a pinch of cinnamon in too... very tasty and again, will help massively with the congestion. - just enough lemon to fill/cover/layer the bottom of a flat-bottomed mug and between the same and double that of honey (local is great 'cause it also helps with allergies), and a pinch of cinnamon (optional), pour boiling/very hot water and stir and drink hot. You could try moving Charleigh's bed over by your feet when you sit down so she can be with you, but also in the bed? Then can see about moving it away once she's used to that? New pet? Hmm... well it's outside, so not an indoor pet, so something big? Is it a dinosaur? Or a highland coo. One of the two. Ok, but what did JT score with those first 3 darts? Looked pretty good actually. Also welcome back to the land of the Yoo-toobs. I suspect it felt nice to be able to upload again.

If you want to be safe with the dartboard you could always get some Cork board sheets and using command strips attach them to the wall around the dart board. That way of the darts hit the wall they are just going into the cork board and not the wall.
