I’m thinking about : - walking around in cycling shorts and athleisure in general - triple s Balenciaga shoes - banana bags - instagram fashion : you know these clothes from Fashion Nova, Pretty Little thing. I'm 21. I tried every single one of these shoes because they are "trendy" "sexy" or just what's expected of a typical college girl. It wasn't until I wore what's considered "the boring classy look" that I felt like myself. So much more confidence came from it and I feel so good in my outfits now. I felt like a girl before and now I feel like a woman. Idk probably sounds so stupid but I'm happy with myself now even if it's over something as silly as shoes.

I guess what I’m saying is it seems like she has a lot of exemptions where she says one thing but does another. She says she don’t seem believe that jeans are appropriate but then certain jeans are OK in certain arenas. I think platforms are the same way and depending on what the platform she looks like what it’s paired with makes a huge difference if it’s a long ball gown I don’t see a problem with it but if you put it with a pair of shorts that looks horrible.

Having said that I wear them at home and to the shops and very occasionally in the summer to town but no they're not cost "elegant" but were they designed to be? Probably not! I agree with the heels part but starting from the slides till the balanciaga shoes, it may not be classy and elegant BUT its what we call “Street Style”. More towards casual comfort and street style. You should do a high society "fragrance type smell"? Like what they wear to smell good without killing everyone in the room. A perfume that leaves 20ft of trail to me is not elegant; but, I have known some wealthy people to wear some. Tresor, for example, is too strong especially if not applied with a light hand. Can you also talk about hygiene in general, like making sure our hair is maintained based on texture, so it doesn't get dingy. I know we have dry shampoo; but, it does not cover everything after like 4 weeks.

Okay I'm gonna say, this was in my recommended, I had no idea why and the title got me kind of mad because I felt like it was a judgemental, so I clicked and the first couple seconds I was still bothered but I kept watching to see what it's about. It's not at all a way to divide women, all she is doing is giving advice on what shoes not to wear for those women who do want to look classy. She's not telling you what to wear. Wear whatever you want, in the end what she's saying is right, all these shoe trends aren't classy and for those that are bothered you know it too and are probably secretley upset that you aren't. There's no other reason to be bothered because she's not telling calling those who do wear this ugly. If anything she just might say she doesn't like these tends and she's allowed to have her own taste and say that. If you wanna get offended by it, it sounds like a personal problem. I just saw way to many butthurt comments so I decided to write this.

I clearly don’t understand the amount of negative comments about the video. If you don’t agree or have a different opinion and fashion style, just watch the video and let it go. She’s is giving her honest opinion about some horrible fashion trends that clearly aren’t classy or elegant, they might work for some people and they might be someone’s style but that doesn’t mean they are “ Elegant” shoes. A true lady should know better to understand and comprehend another’s opinion, besides being classy and elegant has more to do on how you treat others than what shoes you wear.

A I shop everywhere. High and low end. Nordstrom and Nordstrom rack have blessed me with some of my most comfy shoes, especially heels. I also shop online. I wear 4” and lower as I’m 5ft 11”. Some of my fav brands are Ivanka Trump, Badgley Mischka , Nine West and Payless for my sneakers.

honestly the type of shoe you wear has nothing to do with anyone taking you seriously or not. if you have an attitude, you will be taken seriously, whether youre wearing a "classy, ladylike" shoe or triple s's. i prefer triple s right now, im 19 and my style is quite edgy and street wear - like. maybe in 10 years i will be completely opposite and decide to wear lady like heels and dress that way too. still has nothing to do with how people will treat me. the only difference might be the type of men/women i will attract.

I agree with her in terms of “not classy shoes”. However, the way she’s expressing herself is not the best and it makes her look (slightly) rude. But she’s right about every shoe, they’re not classy. If you’re trying to look professional you should opt for different shoes, if you’re on holidays wear whatever you want (even if it means wearing FILA’s sneakers)

Stay at 10.5 cm (not more) you can walk well with it. By well, I mean, if you can stand up straight and walk elegantly without “broken” the knees while walking. If you can’t, lower the height. It will be more elegant. That been said, it’s also a matter of the designer and the way they are working on the idea to create perfect balance for the feet/body while being on heels. I’m working on heels (10.5cm) every single working days. I can tell you without any doubt that you have to relate to certain brand and leave others. Sometimes prices matter as well. 1: Gianvito Rossi. The “gianvito” in 10.5 cm are one of the best simple super sexy pump I owned in this range and i immediately understood the idea of investing a bit more money in “savoir faire” rather to pay for cheap shoes and expected the best. 2) Francesco Russo. More intimate brand. This designer is very very popular for making elegant, sexy yet super comfortable ( yes. I said it ) shoes. And I have like... 5 pairs. All of them are incredible. The arches are perfectly well balanced and the leather is so subtle, soft... the cut are so incredible that it is very hard to switch for other brand after. 3) Tamara Mellon. She’s doing incredible high heels and also very comfortable in some way. Also very well balanced. And yes, it’s expensive as well. 4) Jimmy choo. Same explanation. If I can give an advice: stay away from Louboutin / Saint Laurent if you are looking for heels that are easily manageable. They aren’t. Unless you are very well trained. I am. And I can say that I can’t wear them if I have to many stuff to thing about at work since the pain ( yes... the pain) can be so overwhelming at some point that I can’t think about anything else but remove it. Voila :)

FINALLY SOMEONE SAID THE TRUTH!!!! I'm entering the stores and there's everywhere the same pair of shoes, there's no uniqueness anymore! The thing is that they promote the trendy 'shoes' or else... monstrous creations and everyone is trapped in buying those things. I thought I was getting paranoid when I was thinking that 'damn, those square shoes remind me of penguins' or that 'okay can we just stop with the tractor effect... like yesterday'. Nowadays, the stores lack from good fashion sense, and it's sad, because if we go decades back, there were quite the incredible and unique pieces in each clothing shop. Aka: instead of getting better with time, the fashion industry lost sense and is following the vision of I need to design something bizarre, unusual, super attention seeking (that should actually enter an art museum), instead of providing people with quality, elegant and flattering clothing. The direction is lost. They should re-purpose their clothing scheme. I miss the days in which shops used to have different pieces, and you didn't know what to expect..

I agree with everything except the “very high heel “ mainly because it’s the simplest of silhouette it’s sleek it elongated the leg and can be multi styled. The other styles are trendy ... it is all about styling though . You can take a more flamboyant piece and style it with something simple and classic and it still be elegant and refined .

When I watched a few of your videos I thought you might been being too picky, however after watching several of your videos, I think we have pretty similar taste and your right. Elegance Requires balance and subtlety. Natural with a small flower sometimes. Some people have a natural propensity to want this however others have a natural propensity to want to be very showy. You give really good information on being elegant or classic and I think you’re 95% accurate. 5% a matter of taste. Great job
