In regards to our Reaction videos:
As many of you know KZbin can be an unpredictable and often unfair place when it comes to copyright rules and their enforcement. If our video ends up getting cut due to copyright reasons it will be labeled in the title as a Review rather than a Reaction. The music video portion of the video will be cut out and you will only see our before and after thoughts. Unfortunately this is the best we can do under those circumstances and we would appreciate a Like rating on our videos to help us overcome any negative algorithmic affects.

Wild, 25 years for this album. I remember seeing Wait and Bleed on the Box channel and just getting hooked. They were so far ahead of their time when this album came out. It still kicks after all this time. GOATed album!

I got to see Slipknot for the first time in 2001 at Ozz- Fest! They were on the mainstage. It was epic to me, I loved it. I love this album and I don't see how anyone could not. This album is a classic,and will continue to make more metal fans all over the world. Sic & Wait and Bleed,Surfacing,Eyeless,Spit it Out are my top favorites. No bad songs on this album. Fantastic breakdown of the album!!! Those masks are iconic! 💯♥️♥️♥️♥️

I was in middle school when this album came out and at the time, I was just beginning my metal journey. I was mostly into hip hop at the time, but did listen to bands like Korn and Limp Bizkit. I just remember how much Slipknot changed the game with this album. I can remember sitting in computer lab and seeing a kid pull this album out of his pocket and pass it around to his buddies. These weren't kids that were normally into metal, so seeing them pass it around and listening to it was weird, but its what I mean by Slipknot changing the game.

I saw these guys live in Chicago a few days before this album came out. I had no idea who they were and was there for I believe, Coal Chamber. All I remember from that show was the intro track playing and then Corey came to the mic and said "we're slipknot, and we're from fucking iowa!" And as soon as Surfacing started, the entire venue exploded into a pit and we were thrown into the walls. It was easily the most memorable moment of any show I've ever been at. I was blown the fuck away, and had to have that album asap!

I was just shy of turning 16 when this came out. My buddy, Cody picked this CD up and I remember just being blown away listening to this in his basement. Instantly had him burn me a copy on CD-R. I couldn’t wait to get home and beg my parents to take me to On-Cue music to get my own copy. So many memories and good times back then. Long live the knot 🤘

I wasn't into them when the debut came out, mostly due to my own ignorance. Years later i decided to give them another go. And i got it then. The debut is unbridled manic ferocity. It hits so hard!! Probably my favourite album of theirs. Its unhinged but the playing is great. Over time they have become the band i listen to the most. My therapy band. Great review guys.

This album changed my life. I love every song on this album tho. I don’t feel it has a weak one. They all tie in perfectly. Man, this is one of the greatest albums of all time. Barely giving it a toe tag is just disrespectful.
