The quickest and cheapest remedy to get you 2/3rds of the way to good audio: get a lav mic and clip it onto your clothes near the collarbone. You can opt for either a PC version that goes into the soundcard, or a smartphone version that you'll record separately need to sync with a clap to the video. Just make sure it's not clipping during recording, the rest can all be fixed later. The cheap ones are usually between $0.50 and $10 with often no to little difference between them, and most sound good. They do have background noise but also they have a fairly natural signature, with a simple omni capsule, but the noise doesn't matter so much because they're placed so well. Once you go directional microphones, things quickly get weird and need even more babysitting. Don't be tempted to get a shotgun microphone, the diffraction caused by the walls in the room is fierce, they're designed for outdoor/soundstage use. Then you'll need a processing chain in the software. First denoiser (OBS denoiser in classic or RNNoise mode, or if not using OBS, then ReaPlugs FIR), then gate, then compressor (3-10x approximately, to taste). You can EQ the audio to drop out anything below 100Hz before the gate as well, that'll help if you move or cause rustling noises. If you don't like the sound, you can add an EQ before the compressor. You can make gain in the compressor and leave it at that. Compressor makes for that smooth, even sound that you always hear on professionally produced videos, but it brings up the noise. To eliminate noise between words, that's the task of the gate. The denoiser both removes noise during speech and makes the gate MUCH easier to tune without dropping words. Of course getting better mic than that is desirable (and an audio interface with zero-latency monitoring), but there's no magic in it, the toughest challenges are placement and processing. Proper audio is a TON of effort and there are no shortcuts that i know of, where you could just buy your way out of the whole hassle. If there is, i haven't seen one.

I’m sure Eunhae’s childhood heavily affected her. Having to be her parents’ sole caregiver as a child while growing up in poverty must have fueled her selfishness as an adult and her desire to be pampered and spoiled. I feel like this could’ve been avoided if someone had stepped in & did more for her & her family when she was a child besides giving her a home makeover. That being said there’s no excuse for premeditated murder. She’s most likely responsible for the deaths of 3 men. I hope she’s caught and I hope they throw the book a at her. She deserves to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. The person I feel will suffer the most because of her actions is her daughter. She’s essentially an orphan now, and her mother’s actions will follow her for the rest of her life.

When people start to make excuses for another person's actions is when you know the world is done for. They're many people who suffered 10x more than this yet, they're not going out killing people. I'm not saying that everyone doesn't react differently and we should not judge or compare their stories and the result, but casting an excuse is to cast aside that person's blame. Having emotions is fine and having such sadness for her is fine, but sometimes that act of emotions can cloud human judgment. It's actually not that weird in South Korea for the woman of the household to manage the finances. I study koreanstudies at university and had a talk by a professor who had researched the finacial gender dynamic in Korea. This is why in a relationship, no matter how in love you are or believe how nice your partner is, always leave a way out for yourself and don't give your entire life on the hand of the other person. Yikes! I wonder if, at some point in her childhood/teens, the unending need and worry for money might've become an obsession & she equated it with happiness, a way to fix everything. Sometimes obsession can be the first steps towards serious mental imbalance, insanity & ppl in that state often lack a conscience as we understand it. Or maybe it just made her precociously cynical and hard, determined to look out for #1. People are so complicated, who knows?🤔
@jaydedepato699522 күн бұрын
Please do not suggest that people who are "insane" are lacking in conscience. Many do not hurt others and are in fact more prone to be victims of crimes/injustice as they are seen as easy targets or undeserving of basic human respect. See SangYeop as an example, he had a history of being suicidal (and presumably otherwise "mentally unstable") and was preyed upon and murdered after being cheating on and squeezed of all his hard-earned wealth. People do not do horrible things because they are mentally ill, they do horrible things because they choose to disregard the pain of others.

People are the sum of their experiences. Especially your childhood shapes who you are. What happens during your childhood is not just a set of experiences you remember, but the events actually affect how your brain develops physically. The effects are permanent, they last a lifetime. If you have a challenging childhood and don't get to live your days as a child should, then it's not a surprise if you get messed up. As a child the person might still seem happy, but once they enter their teens and start thinking about the world with a maturer brain, that's when the scars of negativity from their childhood start affecting their world-view. People with tough formative years like Eun Hae's have much higher rates of depression, anxiety, anti-social behaviour, poor life-management skills, negative personality traits, etc.

That's not an excuse, and the way it's phrased is a disservice to everybody out there who went through a difficult time and actually improved the world. Just because someone has a hard life doesn't mean they are "messed up" or chose to have the following mental struggles (such as depression, anxiety, etc.), nor does it excuse their actions. People are responsible for the way they react to situations, and there are plenty of horrific murderers and other offenders who had no such troubled upbringing. It is a choice. Furthermore, you are perpetuating a stigma by suggesting that people with a troubled upbringing/mental struggles are lesser because of their experiences, and have "negative personality traits" as a result.

He couldn't even have that. It broke my heart that he was working so hard and going through so much, but couldn't even afford a pair of shoes or glasses, and had to eventually even beg for food. :( I'm also sad for the daughter, who is now left to fend for herself and must bear the knowledge of what happened to the people who should be closest to her. I would like to remind people not to blame the victims, and keep in mind that hardships in someone's past are absolutely not an excuse for reprehensible actions. Plenty of people have struggles and do not hurt others; struggling is not inherently bad or make you prone to crime, and it does not make you an evil or lesser-than person. Being poor doesn't make you a potential killer. Maybe everyone who saw the show was manipulated by her, and she was never a "sweet angel", she just knew how to manipulate people. Telling people "I just want the best for my parents", doesn't mean that she really wanted that. One thing is what you see in a tv show chapter, another what happens in real life, her real face wasn't her 13 version of a tv show, her real face was the face of a cold murderer.

Wow, this story is definitely fcked up.I feel bad for the man, he had to go through soo much,just to please his wife. And the poor daughter has to deal with her mother. I cant image how she would feel having a mother that terrible. I hope those two get found one day and that the mans family gets justice.

Poverty changes people it comes with entitlement to other peoples property I have seen this with my own family members. But I wonder why good people end up with evil people.

You're a natural as a storyteller. Did they ever explain, why Sang Yeok(?) didn't cut her off when she was blowing thru his savings like that? That's a red flag right there when she's living in a luxury apartment and he's in some rinky-dink roach motel.

The video shows the other men tormenting him & trying to flip his tube over while he was on his tube when it was very well known to the entire group that he couldn’t swim and had a major fear of drowning. They were messing with him the whole trip treating him like trash and had already made 1 previous attempt on his life earlier on the trip, that they tried to play off like a joke. He was murdered by her & her lover. Zero doubt about it.

This entire tragic story sound like the villain origin... Born in the poverty environment with two disabled parent having low income to live, making her the sole caretaker for the household at such young age then have unprotected sex ended up having a child and managed to land a job at the big city seeing how much better life is what trigger her inner demons unfortunately. Her entire struggled youth which infest greediness and selfishness overtime which lead her to do the actions, she had lost all her morale and became an empty shell the way she is right now. I think the government should step up their providence not just focus on growing the economy all the time sighs... In my country they will provide welfare to unfortunate household like with Eunhae case. Here the ministry of social and family development welfare will provide an built facility for the family and also providing free education for the child till college, therefore people like Eunhae and her parent will not fall too far back behind in term of quailty of life. Now I understand why countries like Singapore and Hong Kong are way ahead of South Korea in term of advancement nation as a whole

This is normal occurrence in USA though, too much money to be spent if the government wants to fix this mental health issues.
@joesama32822 жыл бұрын
@@yohaneschristianp Yes I totally agree with your statement, the US have a big problem with mental healthcare and sadly it has impact more and more teenagers nowadays. Especially social media these days are the common cause for parent nelgecting behavior and teens suicide cases. They got bullied at school and then go home to get bullied on social media again. More modern parents nowadays are letting the internet to "nanny" their kids for convenient, but part of it also came from the gun control and violent culture within the US that fuel on mental health issue. I always wonder why the american healthcare is not as universal as some other advanced countries, I also wonder where do the taxpayer's funds went to? do more funds went into military industrial and the media but less on education and healthcare?
