Really appreciate and love this food for soul series. In Buddhism as well there are lots of teaching but have to tell this, even there are really good lessons which we could learnt, as a society there's a huge difference in our society and this European (here in Australia too) culture, when it comes to appreciating someone else or something some others do. Plus, in phscycology they say, when you start appreciating the child and make them feel they are important to their parents, they feel secured inside family. Then only the trust build up and they start sharing anything with parents but not with the outsiders. As I'm living in Australia I'm very particular about this relationship between parents and teens as its not like in Asian culture most of the time they've broken this since very young ages of their children. For people like us, with lack of experience, this point is so important Aunt as an experienced plus well organized intelligent mom.
