My brother is the actual owner, I know he dished out almost 2 grand with parts and labor, I'm still sucking up water with the shop vac , it's a freaking mess down there, we live on Long Island NY, so it's flooded before, yes we all live at sea level on the NY islands and everyone is shocked when we flood 😆 After my dad died 3 years ago, they cut his pension dramatically, my disabled mother has to work, although she loves her job and her box of wine 🍷 But living here in NY is ridiculously expensive! You wouldn't believe it, we have what used to be a summer bungalow, from most likely around the early 50s , and it's small, and it's worth a few hundred thousand, upstate NY, it would be less than half, property taxes are insane! My body is destroyed from so many years of busting my ass working building rich A-Holes houses , I wish we could move somewhere cheaper, but Mom won't leave, and she's at the point where she can't live completely on her own, you know, life , I'm starting to realize, my life sounds like a country song ,thanks for the comment and I've noticed it's getting some attention, TG people still care about their fellow Americans, I know I do

It's a tribute to Rory's design and construction skills that a recovery like that can be done in what looks like impossible conditions. Trail Mater is rough-looking, but it's perfectly refined for the tasks to which it is called, and Rory could drive it off the roof of his house and back up again if he needed to, I'm sure. And Mike is a terrific cameraman, a great commentator, and a relentless affirmer of what people are doing; such an encouraging guy to have around!

Ya know, y'all are creating your own customers. Stay with me here.... When regular non-off-road-experienced people see the wrecker, scrambler, or buggy doing obstacles in these videos, they always look so easy. Then they go try it, thinking it is easy. Then they get stuck, break, or upside down. So in a way, you are creating customers by being so good at off-road. I know, it is a philosophical point, but it is the weekend, and I'm tired out from weekend fun, so just sitting here watching ya'll doing the hard stuff so easily. Carry on!

Is there any truth in the rumour that the US military have "requested" full detailed drawings/specs on Trail Mater so that they can create their own efficient off road recovery vehicles? Also, the rights to create Lilli clones to ensure they have an efficient supervisor in every vehicle? Do the car companies ever check your channel to see what the weak points in their off road capable vehicles are so that they can improve their products? Seriously, great team work as usual. You are still the first channel I check for new videos every time I turn on KZbin.

Awesome recovery, surprised that broken axle stayed in. when my rear axle bearing collapsed on my Holden one tonner just rolling it slightly forward the axle came virtually all the way out the diff.

That rotor calliper really performed hero duties keeping the axle in that Raptor. Wouldn't have been a fun vehicle to carry out. Lilly is that point where she's growing quickly again. It will be cool to see her driving the trails soon.

Rory's daughter could use a set of ski goggles or sunglasses with the foam around the lenses to keep the wind/dust out of her eyes... But... Just like Rory, she didn't complain.. she soldiered on :) Let's take a second to recognize Rory's Masterful clutch work... about 15:25 or so... he's going up a STEEP grade, with a boat anchor pulling back... and Rory masterfully start off without rolling back & without over revving or slippin' the **** out of his clutch!... Well done... Think about it.. all the videos TrailMater has done, all this steep climbs, heavy pulls etc.... How many Clutches has he replaced? I don't remember any? I THINK.... one was swapped out, not because it was burnt, but because the tranny had to come out for something else, and it'd be foolish NOT to since it's apart.... But Rory has got mad skills on so many levels. Respect

Disc brakes are the only reason that wheel stayed on! It's why I love upgrading to them on C Clip axles .. one last get out of jail card .... Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
