We're finally back with the Part 1.5 Recap. I apologize for the long break, but the amount of information in these Chapters is a lot to sort through, and a lot of it is vital for the understanding of the story, so I have to include it. This makes the process of making these videos a lot longer than it was with previous Chapters. Despite that, I promise that I will cover the entire Part 1.5 in my Recap series... I already re-experienced Salt Snow Holy City chapters via watching playthrough, and it has gotten even better. That's the thing about HI3rd, re-experience the story doesn't diminished the experience, in fact it enriched and enhanced it, because I discovered and comprehend something that I didn't before, and the more I do, the more immerse I was with the story and dialogues. Same thing happened too with other chapters.

If you're talking about main story lore, HSR as of now is not as difficult to follow as HI3's. Ever since Kolosten arc, HI3 keeps on bringing scifi and philosophical concepts to explain stuff and push forward the story.

@@rambutan7768 This differs from person to person. I have no problem understanding HI3rd lore whatsoever but half the time I don't know what is going on in HSR especially with the different Eons.

Very tl;dr of what I understood: • Penacony was huge a prison (hence so many monsters in dreams), but the Family decided to change it long time ago and made a pretty dream on top of it. • Penacony's artificial pretty dream starts to go back to original dangerous/creepy state. • Now when the Family is losing control everyone wants a piece it or at least get something good for themself from the situation (IPC, Masked Fools, Acheron, Sam from Stellaron Hunters, Black Swan). • Trailblazers are caught into it with a high change there's a previous trailblazer in Penacony (quite possibly the Watchmaker himself)

what do you even struggle understanding in HSR? The things you don’t get like Acheron’s identity and the mystery of penacony are things you don’t understand because you are not supposed to yet, differently from hi3 where you might not understand some things after the story has ended because of their complexity.

Loved all the plot twists that just kept on happening! 🔥 The Salt Snow Holy City chapters are so underrated and do not get enough recognition (mainly because there are a lot of whiners who just call them filler simply because Kiana isn't the main focus in them). 9:15 ... question.. if the Sky people are from Sa... Since we defeated Sa and the Sky people are back in APHO.. are the Sky people its own entity and has its own agenda while working with Void Archives while he simply brings them to Earth? Unless mentioned somewhere in later chapters or in APHO/2 which I missed or dont remember...

Have you finished Part 1.5? If not then please refrain from my comments below because of SPOILER. But if you don't mind it, then you can go ahead. / / / / / / / / Sa as of chapter 42 Act 2 is dead and Vita took her Eyes of Bodhi and went somewhere cuz she wants freedom. I assure you it is not Vita who sent the Sky People in APHO because Vita is grateful for Seele and Hua cuz they were indirectly and directly helping her to achieve her goal and she will be on Part 2 casts side in Part 2 main story. Now, if it's not Sa or Vita, then who? There is only one person left and I think many people overlooked this information. This person literally still roaming out there in space doing god knows what and this person is literally a Sky People herself, and her name is "Ugly" Marah. "Ugly" Marah first appeared in Chapter 39 Act 2 during Sa's flashback before she became Sa. She is a fellow scientist like Sa in Venus. Post Finality in Venus, all people had been turned into a data and all of them live in some sort of simulation by Sa, thus made her the only survivor of Venus destruction. One day, Marah escaped the simulation, but Sa easily captured her and made her to stay (by any mean necessary). After that, Sa created a body for her and guess what is her body? Yes, a Sky People Code 0 "The Fool" and her job is "Cleaning". After many years, She planned to escape from Sa and Vita/Proxy knew that but she didn't plan to tell Sa to repay her favor. We also learned in the same chapter that Marah learned all what Sa can do to absorb energy, and not only absorbing energy from bubble world, she can also absorbs a Planet's energy which is what Sky People do. In chapter 42 act 1 during Sa's flashback again, we finally learned through Vita that Marah managed to escape and took all the "Cleaner" from Sa and became "Interstellar Pirate". The term "Interstellar Pirate" itself is the same term that Elder konpeito and Niggurath (SUGARs) used to refer Sky People in chapter 38 Act 2. But there's one thing that is still blurry, which is Sky People invasion to SUGARs. It definitely happened million years ago, but we still don't know which Sky People who invaded them. It could be Sa's Sky People when Marah is still with her or it could be Marah's Sky People when she already escaped from Sa. But all in all, with all information that we've got, we can conclude that Sky People that appeared in APHO is not Sa's but Marah's.

The Sky People in APHO are probably under Marah's control. We learn in Chapter 42 that Marah escaped from Sa and took the 'cleaners' (the things that look like the APHO monsters) with her. I'm going to make another video on that topic alone sometime in the future.

@@MbahtedjoOfficial Oh I'm not denying that. It is hard to know when she is lying or not because Vita is an elusive character and a two faced character. She's often lying and withholding the truth/omitted some truth for the sake of gaining her own freedom, and only setting aside the differences when convenient. Even then, that's for the sake of fueling her own goals. Well, eventhough she didn't directly help fight Sa from the start, she did indeed reverse the time and summon 7 lil Vitas to help Fu Hua and Griseo till she bleed from her mouth, so for me that's count (tho it's 100% for her own sake lol). At the end of chapter 42 act 3, We can see Vita standing alone looking at the city and looked at the 7 lil Vitas. Eventhough she denied that she cared about them with all analogy that she said, but it is implied that deep inside her heart she still care about them. So, what makes me believe that Vita is on our side is because she already achieved her freedom. She's free from Sa and she took everything from her. She is indeed grateful to Seele and Hua because they unknowingly helped her to achieve her goal. Well, we don't know what happened between post Mars/part2 and APHO. I know that Void Archive somehow found a way back to real world and working together with Sky People (tho how it happened is not explained yet), but I'm curious of your statement about "Marah have Griseo paint". Where is this information stated or shown or maybe implied (manga or main story/apho chapter)? If I may know. Also, now that you mention that, Vita indeed said in chapter 42 act 1, Sa's flashback, that if she ever come across Marah again, she got a serious bone to pick with her. It is possible that she's somehow meet Marah again somewhere post part 2/pre APHO. Now, it could go 2 ways (my theory, I just came up with after reading your comment, so let me cook lol): She's working together with Marah (tho I don't know what's her motive) or Marah captured her after they meet with each other. We don't know how far Marah have grown, she could be stronger than Sa/Vita, after all she learned from them too. If it's the latter, I can see why Vita helping Marah, it's just to make her fight Kiana and friend so that she can free from Marah lol.

Seeing people comment about Hsr latest story is confusing really make me thinking, for the story kinda very direct but a little hint here and there, which is not very much style of Shouji during Hi3 already get people so lost over it. Idk , for me it understandable story. Maybe it just because i already used to Hi3 story which for me sometime got so complicated unless i see explanation video. Maybe also because Hsr player right now pretty much new to this kinda of story direction which is good because people gonna make video to explain for it. BTW Kiana Finger Gun "Pang"

Sorry for the off-topic question, but I'm wondering what your take is on this. In HSR there's the "Interstellar Travel" data bank text mentioning that the worlds on the imaginary tree are isolated from each other via imaginary energy and that not even light cannot pass through it. Since we now via the last HI3 arc know that HI3s world also has such an imaginary energy intertidal wave zone blocking everything off from travelling past it (with the exception for Marah) at the edge of its solar system, I'm beginning to question why exactly you can see other solar systems from the space in hi3s world in general. Aren't they supposed to not be visible? Do you possibly have an idea to explain this? Sorry if I phrased this weirdly.

question for honkai lore experts: - i’m trying to understand the beginning of everything. This is what i got until now: - The sea of quanta existed, gave birth to the imaginary tree. - While the roots remained inside the sea, the rest of the tree was in the imaginary space. - imaginary tree gave birth to time, planets and life. - the cocoon of finality is born from the imaginary tree / was inside the imaginary space / entered the imaginary space - the cocoon noticed the tree was creating civilisation and tried to assimilate one of them, become as a single being with a different civilisation because of loneliness. - Purusha (venus) is the first civilization that cocoon tries to assimilate, and to do that he turns imaginary energy from the tree into honkai energy and attacks purushans, which would force them to advance technologically to face the threat - making them “assimilatable”. - Instead of that happening, Purushans fail to defeat the cocoon. they manage to wash it away by creating a sea of quanta tsunami (how???) - Purusha falls into sea of quanta. Vita, the only remaining habitant, harnesses the sea of quanta power and becomes cocoon of sea of quanta. - she changes her name to sa and decided to rebuild her civilisation in the sea of quanta, she needs energy for that so she creates a copy of herself and send her to destroy bubble universes to get enough energy to do something (?) Can someone tell me where and why i am wrong please? i am trying to properly understand the fundamentals of hi3 but i don’t completely get what the imaginary space is or does, the rules of the Sea of Quanta like whether venus fell into the sea of quanta because of the contact with honkai, because it was destroyed, because of the memories of the habitants or if never fell in the first place. Also, did the branch with all the timelines of venus fall too? how are bubble universes or world born exactly? how are ether anchors “made”, i think durandal became an anchor so how did she do it and can anyone become one for any type of bubble universe? (so can any bubble universe survive just by becoming an anchor)? I know hi3 it’s hard to explain, it’s open to interpretation often. Can someone try to explain as neutrally as possible based on things that happened rather than personal theories? i searched online and people seem to say very different things like world not falling in the sea (leaves) but whole branches. also, sorry for my english.

@@aldirap9147i read that but i don’t get whether the planet was destroyed or not. some sites say things that are contradictive. what i understood is that: - mars was attacked by the cocoon - mars was destroyed - when a destroyed planet falls inside the sea of quanta (when that happens, we call it “bubble universe”) it gets distorted and then absorbed as data by the sea. i still don’t understand some thing though: - if that is the case, is Mars of Part 2 a Bubble Universe? - if so, why does it exist, the planet was destroyed so its fate should be falling and getting absorbed by the SoQ. - Do Ether Anchors form for every single planet that falls inside the sea of quanta? what’s the point of that? - i heard that ether anchors are just a defense mechanism of a planet that falls into the sea, to survive longer in it. what’s the point in surviving longer if the planet cannot supposedly live without imaginary energy from the imaginary tree? people online said they could survive but i don’t get why.

@@jeremywinston1 yes they confirmed Mars from part 2 is a Bubble World and when planet getting destroy at least by Herrscher of Finality it created a bubble world in Sea of Quanta like Moon bubble in chapter 32 for example and the whole Solar System in HI3 is counted as a 1 world because in Star Rail explain Imaginary barrier is what separated each world in the Imaginary tree, at the edge of Solar System for HI3 case

aahhhh the best arc, plot twist after plot twist... in this chapter, i also realized how truth works in this game,.. Bronya was right, truth changes overtime, the understanding on how sea of quanta works changes overtime as they uncover the unknowns.
