I bought this guitar from The Acoustic Shoppe a couple months ago…and I love it! The action is set low and just perfect for me…a trademark of Eastman guitars. The sound is just beautiful! I hope you really enjoy yours!

Ah nice! Would love to go to that store some day

Very nice!! Congrats for getting another Eastman! I'm not much into acoustics myself, but if I grab one will be 100% for sure an eastman. Enjoy it!!

Im not either, this is my effort to give them a really good go haha. Thanks mate!

Congrats, Pauly! Nice guitar! I’m about to unbox a new Eastman SB59 gold top myself. It arrived yesterday but I had to wait for it to acclimate. They were discontinued quite a while ago but I found a small shop in another state that had a new one still in stock. Hopefully it’s as flawless as my other 2 SB59’s, especially since I don’t know if there’s another new one available in the USA and hardly any used ones either. 😊

Wow thats awesome! Very rare indeed to find those in gold now. I would like one 🤣
@JAL-cc8jdКүн бұрын
I think there’s a new one in the Netherlands listed on Reverb. Otherwise, just keep an eye out for a used one to pop up now and then. I would have also bought an SB56 gold top like yours but I already have a Gibson P90 gold top which I dearly love. 😊

Congratulations Paulie! Back and sides are gorgeous! Playing was superb as always, nice touch with the harmonica on H.o.G. Shame about the bridge pin and the ding, but you made it sound great! Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

Congrats with the new guitar , i also put 10's on my acoustic (an older sigma DR 28 with the lookalike martin/sigma logo ) and i like that the guitar still sounds full but is more playable due to the thinner strings .
@Paul-D2 күн бұрын
I think its better, sure you might lose a little bit of output and bottom end, but add a few years to your playing lol

Nice guitar buddy. You do love your Eastman's, must have a few in your collection now 😊. Sounded really nice man.
@Paul-DКүн бұрын
If there was another brand that gave you as much for the cost i would get those instead 😃

Great! Congrats, beautiful guitar - I hear nothing but good things about the acoustics from Eastman . . . one day! 😅

I have tried there entry ones and they punch way above their weight! Thanks for watching

Congratulations on your new acoustic ! Nice looking and sounding guitar ! Make me remember, back in the days I had a fully black one, they called EJ 45 😂 That was a prototype I got really cheap. Also rich sounding like yours , nothing like the more dry sounding Gibson J45. Enjoy yours !
@Paul-DКүн бұрын
Dry - good word i shouldve thought of that trying to describe what the actual j45 thing is haha

Paul, you're a wimp, 12 to 53's are light acoustic strings 🙂 Man up and stick with 12s on an acoustic, your fingers will get used to them and it will improve your electric playing as well. Seriously nice looking and sounding guitar. Well done for getting it. I recently bought myself a Furch Yellow Gc-SR Sitka Spruce/Indian Rosewood Grand Auditiorium Cutaway Acoustic and it's fantastic.
@Paul-D2 күн бұрын
hahaha - there is truth to that. I like the lightest strings I can get away with, im only small lol! I have to be careful with acoustics because you really can get SO many different flavours of sounds from different models, I just wanted a good all round big body one and think this does that nicely but without really sounding exactly like a Martin, J45, OM etc :)

I really like this guitar. I have an Alvarez Anniversary Model ARDA Slope Shoulder Model from 2015. It's always nice to have a Slope Shoulder dreadnought in your arsenal.
@Paul-DКүн бұрын
My parlour is an alvarez - nice guitars. Yeh a slope shoulder is just the right fit for me on a larger body - then again they all have there own sounds 🤣

What a beauty! I purchased an E10D in sunburst three weeks ago. Beautiful flamed mahogany back and sides. And Gotoh tuners. I had it set up a few days ago and I'm so happy with it. I think the Adirondack top brings out the treble and upper mids a bit more than a sitka spruce top with mahogany back/sides. You'll have probably noticed by now that your E6SS stays in tune remarkably well. That's because the tuners are definitely not Pingwells!
@Paul-DКүн бұрын
Yeh its strange the plain top one definitely has plain pingwells not the stamped gotohs. Maybe they do it for the sunburst models 🤷♂️ Congrats on your new one too!

@@Paul-D Seriously? I swear I've asked the exact same question on one of your other videos then 🙄😅 Thanks. Love the eastman content even if it gives me GAK. And the playing seems good to me

Lovely guitar Paul 👌🏻! ! What did the company you bought it from say about the small dink on the rear that you found when you got it out of the box ?

thanks @Raff654 other then a return they couldn't really say alot, I was okay with it and they sent me some strings as a sorry.

Mine has some interesting figuring patterns on the top. I wish I had a way to show it off to you. Pretty cool guitar and thank goodness it’s lighter than my E10 was
@Paul-DКүн бұрын
I think I forgot to mention weight here actually, this one is super light, I was shocked how light it was tbf. You can send photos on Facebook or instagram if your there :)

I have the eastman e10ss and it's a cracking guitar miles better than the gibson j45 I tried that e6 looks and sounds great👍
@Paul-D2 күн бұрын
I think there alot more versatile then a J45 for sure. I just think they sound quite different which is important if someone was strictly after that sound - which I wasn't haha. The E10SS is a step above this one but both awesome for sure :)
@LegsONКүн бұрын
Mate, the 6th string saddle height is extremely concerning.
@Paul-DКүн бұрын
The saddle has been sanded down pretty low tbf. But I requested that so kind of my fault

scale length? this is one of the most important specs on a guitar and 90 percent of people never talk about it.

Did I not say? I even wrote a note to include it lol. 24.75

Hi Paulie, I have the E10SS. I agree lovely guitars but not at the levelkof the Martins or Gibsons. Still for the price the continue to punch above their weight.
@Paul-DКүн бұрын
Definitely better then equivalent priced acoustics I’ve tried. And better then the budget martin/taylors too.
